Alright Dudes,

Thursday, June 17, check oleragtop.blogspot.com for pics of the inside. Hopefully the fat chick won't show.

Murilee, I cannot, through AOL, send more than a couple pics at a time, hey I am an old man and will never figure all this out. Can you link it?

Hey all:

It's still sitting there. I saw it once driving down A1A.

My nephew saw it every day on the bus on his way to school and never knew what it was. I have a some commentary and photos on my blog you might want to check out sometime you are really bored.

Murilee, thanks for my fifteen minutes, scratch that, 15 seconds of fame.

Sweet car and Honest to God, Love Shack is playing on the Orlando based radio station, right now.
It is your Jalopnik duty to get your lazy butt back up there and share more photos of this classic yard with us.
This morning, I paid $3.99 a gallon, USD, to fill my Volvo 850, from red light on dash, low fuel, to full, $67.83, range is about 375 miles, but, I live on Daytona Beach, I am riding by bicycle to my local bar and hanging on the beach checking out the tourist's bikinis. That tank, between home and office, should last about a week...but when I factor in my old 5.0 liter F150...holy **it!!! Happy Holiday and Remember our Soldiers.
Hey!!

To me, not all road trips are cross country...

How about a road trip from Ocala, FL to the beach at Daytona? 70 minute drive through the heavily pined Ocala National Forest...yes there is a National Forest in Florida.

And get this, in a Fiat Jolly. Perfect low speed cruiser, no Interstates, love it on the Beach, excellent mileage, and, at only a 130 mile round trip, no reliability issues.

And it has the surrey with fringe on top.

I love this truck. I have been trying to find a decent one here in Florida but they all seem to have serious cancer. Gotta enjoy the aftermarket fuel tank and only a driver's side wiper. Thanks for the great pics of a great old truck.

Gotta love the push mower in the truck bed with her...hope she is able to work on those rolls by pushing that mower..
At the age of 48, I realize, 35 years ago, while in high school, this would have gotten no press attention, my dad would have whipped my ass and i would have had to replace all of the grass on that field, blade by blade. What is the chance of that happening here? It still would have been hilarious to see those soccer Mom's unloading in their britches.
My philosophy is, and always has been, when you are at a track, the racecars always have the right of way. Sorry Dude, hope you are feeling better. And as much as I like Danica, her attitude and her persona, hopefully the, what is it now, IRChampcarCART?, will get it together and openwheelUSAracing will be a success once again.
what no longroofs? i guess they are all on the next page... had to vote for the corvair ragtop...the family had one when i was a kid (10 yo), to young to drive it but enjoyed the hell out of riding with my older (16, 17 yo) brothers in it. the caddy was my second choice. they are both tied as of this post. as far as a bond stunt driver, how would this thing float?
Murilee...your sense of timing is magnificent. Showing us the unbelievable one day, then proving its correctness the next...bravo... and fantastic timing with the camera.. how dooo you dooo that?
I think these were the only drop tops on the US market at this time.
