""heat resistant" glass is borosilicate glass generally known as pyrex.
It has a low expansion coefficient and more importantly for this context is less brittle and more durable than standard off the shelf silica."
"Technology is just a tool.
It should be expected that those engaged in the insurgent side of asymmetric warfare would be heavily reliant on existing and widely deployed communications tools.
As the technology gulf between what you can deploy yourself and what large corporations with access to capital markets can field one would expect those systems to be co-opted for every imaginable purpose.
While I personally think peaceful protest, and civil disobedience are the preferable ways to speak truth to power that won't listen, crowd sourced intelligence, flash mobs and sousvelliance techniques undoubtedly are and certainly will be used by those with violent agendas as well.
It worth reflecting in these circumstances that, more oppressive regulatory regimes will not prevent the use of our technological tools against us, that the long term solutions to problems like this will not involve more regulation or the use of force of arms but rather the construction of political and economic frameworks that include a voice for those who are presently marginalized and therefore seek to make their point via violence and destruction."

Hey there. You asked how you can keep the blue sky blue with digital. I'm a professional wedding photog and deal with that all the time and the solution is simple really. You have to set your ISO (or ASA if your old school) to 200 or less. That will always keep your blue sky blue....assuming your other setting are appropriate for outside.
