I agree with your point. Maybe I would give a shit about this car if it's power output exceeded the Kia motor of the same size. But it doesn;'t so I don't.
A tip of the hat to graverobber for the greatest NPOCP writeup I have ever read. In true Top Gear fashion, the more wretched the vehicle, the more entertaining the story.
Now if you can just find a mid-1980's Cressida wagon on Craig's List...
I'm calling bullshit on the Edmunds Hybrid/EV story. Hybrids are still all about the Prius - the Prius had more than 54% of the total Hybrid/EV market for the first quarter of the year. That means the other two dozen or so Hybrids/EVs are selling worth a shit.
Additionally, 68% of the gain in Hybrid/EV sales was due solely to the increase in Prius sales.
The Prius is the hybrid market. And the Prius isn't even selling as well as it did two years ago.
The bad news is that his company car is - oh, never mind.
I think the Detroit News changed its mind when Eminem was quoted as saying "I thought the commercial was going to be for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Man, the CGI tricks they used to get the 200 in the ad were pretty awesome."
GM's profit in Q3 - just before they went public, was $2 Billion. In Q4 - their first quarter as a public company again, profit slipped to $510 million. Why the 75% drop in one quarter?
