Yeah I do a daily article over at [www.atomictoasters.com] on some sort of retro tech that's either aviation related or something odd from the military.

Thanks for the acknowledgement Skaycog #oppositelock

Yeah I've got to give this a +1 as well. As any of us parents know this is all to true. This is just to brilliant an article.
Hearted and agree with completely. It was bad enough that the Macross II movie was titled "Do you remember love?". Get that crap out of my mecha show!
It's also streaming on Netflix as Macross II if i remember right
If you want the Robotech toys cheaply go to Ebay and look for the ExoSquad robotech toys. If Exosquad had gone into a second year it was supposed to be merged with Robotech. So they sold all the bioroids as Exosquad toys. I own several of them.
Ah Thunderbirds 2086 here's something for those who are in their 30s or 40s in the Philadelphia area. The Prism channel used to run that series every day. It was on during the run of Robotech even. So I have good memories of it as well.
The Prism channel will only mean something to those raised in the Philadelphia area. It went on to become the Comcast Sports Network but at one time was your standard HBO like pay channel
Just a matter of which you saw first I think. I saw Robotech first and it's the more important one to me. Which is why, as a teenager, i read all 20+ of the books as well. I've gone back and watched the original Macross and just don't find it as big as the Robotech one was. But that's just a personal opinion
Which is also streaming on Netflix actually. With the death of Carl Macek I think it will be the last of the Robotech labeled properties
I've just found Macross Zero and was going to watch it on Youtube of all places. It shows the global war before the SDF-1 flew for it's initial flight. It's supposed to show the ground battaloids in better detail which I'm looking forward to. There's a video of the MAC II firing which looks awesome (hey im a kid of the 80s im allowed to say that). Finally showing it in all of it's giant glory
No Green Lantern don't do it! Parallax is important but not enough to sacrifice yourself
Well don't worry about them getting close to earth. We have a pretty good metal ring of space junk acting as a shield to protect us
It would have been easy to go with a sex joke there but you went with an inspired comment instead. Promoted without any second thoughts
I'll admit that to the fact that I had to go look it up. I remember her from the show but the name didn't appear in my head
[en.wikipedia.org](comics)

As for why WonderGuy (Wonderman name taken elsewhere) looks like that. I'd say it's because he's not an Amazon and is supposed to be Spartan or Greek. Which again would lead to a bare chest. You know what? You're right.

Oddly I think my favorite look of them is Plastigirl. Since it seems the most original

I think it's 1/2% total split among all of them
Yeah it's Tranzor-Z which is the english translation of Mazinger Z [en.wikipedia.org]
Plus Superman isn't human. He's an alien
But tomato sauce is a vegetable
Probably because we made "dolls" in the US and not "toys" at the time. If you are bored a fun read is this one [en.wikipedia.org] . I was well aware of this tax when i sold cars back in 98. Because our Toyota T100's were built overseas they got charged a 25% tarriff.

Now don't think that tax only affected foreign companies. Ford brings all the Transit cargo vans, built in Turkey, into the US with seats in the second row so they qualify as people carriers. As soon as they hit the docs the seats get pulled to turn them into cargo vans.

Isn't this fun kids?

Can you retrocon taxes if they change the story yet again?
As we have learned they do not come with kung fu grip
