In response to your comment this morning: European Auto Garage is actually the name of the shop (creative, huh?) that hosted Cars and Coffee. They're on Sherway Road off Kingston, just a little east of Pellissippi Parkway.
A couple of the guys on these forums:
work there. That board is a great way to find out about upcoming events, etc. in Knoxville and Chatt.
Did you find it a bit silly that Jalopnik found pictures off all those European tractors, yet when they got to IH they put up a picture of a Scout and not a Farmall? That they didn't even mention Farmall?
I found a great pic of a guy riding a Farmall A like the one in your pic, but the guy has laser beams coming out of his eyes.
Have I been banhammered somehow? My comments aren't posting.
Hi Elhigh! Thanks for the COTD nom, I know I am at a slight disadvantage, given the odd hours (mine, not yours!) that I can comment. But what I really wanted to Thank you for, is the reference to the Herkimer Battle Jitney! It has been a PCH, and it's just starting to come together, but it has given me Hope, and a vision of what's next, a Theme! Won't make the Cal LeMons this year, and may not have a car next year, but I'm goin'!
what's your fastest autobahn run:
"120 in a 1984 Supra, cruise control on. I95, about 25 miles south of DC Beltway."
Cheers, I started to think too hard about how cheap my tires were at 180(Km/h) in mine, but I knew it could go over 200. (140mph=225Km/h)
