Gotta go with the Chevy/GMC 292 I-6, built for trucks and Suburbans for about 25 years starting in 1962. About 115hp, and almost twice that number in torque. None of those wimpy 265 or 283 V8s if you are driving a real truck. And Offenhauser made triple intake manifolds for them...cool!
Sounds like an interesting technique, but I'd still call it HDR. The black card allows you to capture a fuller dynamic range than you would without it, its essentially a double exposure taken within one shot.
Oh nooooo! Now you guys...last week I was using Gizmodo as an example for the Jalopnik folk as to what was going wrong, and now this. Navigation next to impossible. I hate the idea of you deciding what story will be on top for however long, and leaving us to peruse the tiny entries on the right hand column to figure out what is really happening.
What are the Gawker people thinking? I wish there was a reasonable answer, like this will increase our clickthroughs for advertising revenue by 100%. At least that would be honest. To say that this format is easier to use, cooler, better, is BS.
