<![CDATA[donkeyassman commented on Own A Piece Of American Labor History: Scab-Killing 1914 White Truck Could Be Yours!]]> The scabs that where tied up where also urinated upon. Those who were still alive at the end had their throats cut by a man wielding a pocketknife. Other townspeople came out to look at and taunt the dead and dying along the route to the cemetery. One reporter tried to give one of the dying men some water and was told that if he gave the man water, "he wouldn't live to see the next day".

God thats horrible.. Talk about project car hell

<![CDATA[donkeyassman commented on Iso Rivolta Fidia And Rat Rod Chrysler Sebring Down On The San Francisco Street]]> From the link :

One of a kind,
The Iso Fidia was one of the most luxurious cars you could buy in the early seventies. Built quality was very good and only the best materials were used. It's a shame so many were destroyed by rust and used as donor cars for others. Iso produced 192 cars and perhaps 50/75 are left. Most are in need of restoration. It is a great car and today not that expensive.

Cabin is roomy and light. Built quality was very good and it's a shame Iso ignored rustprevention. In the late sixties and during the seventies and early eighties nobody wanted a car as big as a Fidia. Many were sold to the wrong people, students and pimps who trashed and crashed them for fun.

<![CDATA[donkeyassman commented on PCH, Who's Afraid Of Cheap French Cars Edition: Peugeot 504 or Renault 12?]]> Hmm A Rusted out desiel 504.. Thats pretty hellish right there. I bought a running 505 Turbo for $500 last year and It's been my daily driver.. Sure it needs a valve job soon and the speedometer stopped working, but it is easily the best handling and most reliable car I've owned.

It says the Renault is running and it doesnt look that bad... If you can find parts and service for a Peugeot, they'll usually fix Renault's too

<![CDATA[donkeyassman commented on 1985 Cadillac Cimarron]]> I had an 86 Buick Skyhawk Coupe. That luggage rack looks mighty familiar.. It was a horrendous car .. Sunroof leaked so much it was like a pool in the backseats .. RUST RUST RUST.. Gutless, everything broke.. It did have a cool looking interior though for the time

I replaced it with a 91 Pontiac Sunbird which was a little bit better but still crap. After that I swore off J-bodys for life

I saw a Bricklin at a local car show last month. It was in very good shape, well especially comapred to that one. The interior was something else.. like brown leather and shag carpeting.
