@Bullet_Tooth_Tony: NFL said they fined him extra for being a repeat offender.

"Harrison's fine on Tuesday was not his first from the NFL. He drew a $5,000 penalty for slamming Tennessee quarterback Vince Young to the turf Sept. 19, a play that also wasn't penalized. Harrison also was fined $5,000 last season for unnecessary roughness following a late hit on Bengals tackle Andrew Whitworth. In 2008, he drew a $20,000 fine for criticizing a roughing-the-passer penalty against him."
@Kayno: 1) $132 goes a lot further over there than in the US. Compared to most unskilled jobs in that region, it's a decent amount of money.

2) They live and work there voluntarily because there aren't many better-paying jobs around for them.

While I mostly agree on your stance regarding the state of welfare and unemployment, try to keep in mind that this facility seems to operate at better standards than the vast majority of unskilled jobs in China. This is a media sensation story about the admittedly poor state of Chinese employment, however there are plenty of jobs in the US that people work which don't cover their living expenses like the ones at Foxconn.
@ourtimedownhere: Right, because nothing we use in our daily lives ever came from NASA projects. I bet you drive a Corolla.
@Tully Blanchard Enterprises: No doubt, apparently anything worth passing these days requires a supermajority.
@pj134: The MS6 is AWD with the rear diff taken from the RX-8. It also has 274 hp and 280 ft-lb of torque, 0-60 of 5.4 so it's hardly underpowered. @Motor_Yakuza: I agree with you, I'm just tired of seeing them make niche "hail mary" cars when they can't sell anything that actually turns a profit.
Sounds great in concept, but does any genius at GM honestly think it will sell? It's a Mazdaspeed6 (sold poorly) with a Buick badge on it.
@UDMan: Yes, damn them for not personally inviting everyone and their Corolla Type-S. Are you serious?
@GeeHalen: It does look pretty sharp, however those proportions definitely mean it's FWD.
@ragtopdodge: Yes, we should all praise our dear leader for delivering us with an Australian-engineered, Canadian-built Camaro that was designed by a South Korean. That old fart would have tried silly stuff like pay off the UAW or raise CAFE requirements, right?
@Neener: Side mirrors placed halfway across the length of the door that stare straight into ducts?
@pauljones: The angle is always a huge part, in addition to the physical state of the driver. A large part of why drunk drivers suffer relatively weaker injuries is due to their body not reacting and tensing up before impact. Honestly I was just pointing out the obvious, but I can see it coming off as a bit snarky. Bad times for all involved.
@Timtoolman, now with power tools!: In this case, it has to be a combination of 1/2*mv^2 and a 4300 lb Challenger.
@Hello Mister Walrus: Sure I am. Mid 20's, single, in the market for a coupe and I love turbo 4's. But it would be hard to justify over a used S2K if it drives like a Toyota or looks like a turd.
@Elhigh: My guess is they started design with the car pictured but it will be developed to compete with an X3 or some crap. With how much Toyota has screwed up their model lineup and how Subaru just doesn't give a damn about a word we call "design", I couldn't care less.
How many points for driving you home after the bar?
That thing ran four years longer and cost billions less than anything Chrysler/Fiat will ever make.
I hope people aren't still expecting the Volt to be operational if they can't get battery cables on a Camaro to work.
A lot of quick cars come with pretty decent tires these days, but it's a good choice.

I gotta go with lightweight wheels. Reducing the unsprung mass means better acceleration, handling, braking and mileage.
