Tehehe he said "Dingle-arm"
@FTGDWolverineEdition'09: Hahaha, I didnt get an add when I watched it, but that is pretty fricken awesome. Tomorrow's Jalopnik Headline: Toyota Recalls 15,000 Buses for Faulty Floormats.
Was the bus made by toyota? Did anyone check the floormats?? TIE WRAPS
Is that a parking ticket? No, it couldn't be. That's an ugly-ticket. Police recently have started giving them out. They routinely hit PT Cruisers, Pontiac Azteks, and now the Crosstour.
There is no excuse for this monstrosity. Somebody take it out back and "Old-yeller" it! Please.
@engineerd: Didnt even see that early 90's minivan when I first saw the picture... but they're right a Previa is strangest thing I've seen all week.
$30,000 for a car $35,000 for an SUV
There is a mint condition Subaru Brat (White/Brown) in my neighborhood. I saw it for the first time over the summer and it DOES look like a lot of fun. It's tiny, but has a truck bed... How can you go wrong? It was quite the eye-pleaser - much like Ray Wert.
@Tanshanomi: You gotta love the over-emphasized "A" sound when Buffalonians want to make an "O" sound. You nailed my least favorite Buffalo word(s): 1. Gahd = God 2. Taps = Tops 3. Tahd = Todd
I used to see a guy driving and shaving. You say to yourself "Electric razor - okay that's not too distracting" but when I say shaving I mean - he had a bowl of water, shaving cream on his face, and a regular blade (mach3 forexample)... I also very commonly see people with full newspapers open over the wheel.
You must be at some Junkyard super haven! All the junkyards I go to are basically random piles of cars in no particular order - mostly all in 2 feet of mud/muck and all their front windshields smashed in - leaving wonderful trails of glass all throughout the interiors (not to mention a place for water to get in and destroy most of the fabrics). But your photos: amazing. Car's elevated for easy access. All lined up as if they were in a parking lot. Nothing smashed or broken. It's a beautiful sight.
@Bentoboxx, Now part owner of General Motors: Not going to lie, the first time I heard that song I thought it was "First Date Sex" instead of "Birthday Sex." Either way, both are good.
You shouldn't park infront of fire-hydrants, it's against the law!
@Chris P. Bacon: I think what I should have captioned it as: "So I picked up this pizza for my dad, cuz it's his camaro... I hope he lets me eat some of it, cuz this is the first and last time he'll ever let me drive his car."
@vwminispeedster, pronounded Si-trow-in: Oh I totally agree, free pizza 4TW. But you have to admit there is a lack of enthusiasm in that one particular photo and I think we all know it's because he got the pizza and not the Camaro. Which is exactly what you were sayin.
@vwminispeedster, pronounded Si-trow-in: The guy posing in #19 has a funny look on his face, that to me, reads: My dad bought this sweet $35,000 camaro, and all I get to show for it is a lowsy 9inch pizza...
Who put The Green Lantern incharge of interior design? If I wanted my interior to glow neon green, I could just crack some Halloween glow-sticks...
I really like it. I'm not a crazy fan of the whole CUV/SUV thing... mainly because I think they are too much. But this isn't too much. It's about as big as I'd be willing to go without having to sacrifice gallons of gas on a daily basis. I do however see the Ford Fiesta/Nissan Rogue in the exterior styling... But I think both of those cars are reasonably hansom in their own right, and the combbination of the two is not awkward, but rather an improvement. I just hope that some of the interior appointments on this car are superior to last generation. The hard plastics and really bare-bones interior was really keeping me away from Hyundai. But recently their new vehicles have been impressing me left and right, not only in the exterior department, but the interior department as well. I'd like to see Hyundai really hit the nail on the head with this CUV. Because if they do, I'll buy one for $18-24k.
