So Ford, how did that other RWD v8 family sedan you introduced into a depressed economy do? It really flopped, didn't it? Nobody remembers that waste of time, right? Yeaaa... that flathead v-8 was a really bad idea.
So climate change and more importantly, human modification of ecosystems by development, resource depletion, exotic introduction, etc. leads to all sorts of environmental disturbances which thereby create a abrupt change in the biosphere that is Earth, which causes massive die-offs of the human population, eventually reaching a point to where the population of Homo Sapiens is low enough to live a sustainable existence, or dies out completely, and another species takes their place in a few million years.
It's a natural cycle, right? Growth, decline, growth decline. I think human ecological tampering has a past record of not working very well. Just let nature run it's course, and balance us out once we reach that point. We really don't have to be such a narcissistic species. Let's stop yelling at each other so much, and just have fun.
"And in the mean time, we'd suggest parking in your garage…if you have one."
Ah yes, the have's and have-not's. Do I need to wait for my privacy rights to "trickle down" as well? My motorcycles occupy the garage, I demand a federal grant to build one for my car to protect my rights.
@crinklesmith: After a review of the Top Blogger articles, this one is by far my favorite. It was the first one that grabbed my attention on the site due to excellent pics and layout, and the only one I read in totality because I was interested in the content. I vote for Mr. Densch.
Is it a Tucker? Is it a convertible? Then it's obviously a Tucker convertible. I guess the market will be the decider as to it's authenticity by way of the highest bidder.
This is a great post, very interesting story, and well written as well. Almost like something one would find on Ate up with motor. Great job Mr. Densch!
Check out the SDS systems. I helped put one on a marine engine SB Chevy, had it hooked up and running in one day, fully tuned in two. Preposterously easy, and fantastic customer service and website.
@subframespacer: Judged by your previous statement, your obviously an incredibly violent racist who should be locked up in prison and possibly shot by firing squad for the multiple hate induced murders you've no doubt committed in the past.
However, for the sake of conversation, I shall try to explain why your policies of hatred and anger are flawed. Immigrants, especially illegals (I'm sorry, "undocumented"), and any minority other than Whitey are grossly misrepresented in this nation, and to bring their communities to an equal level to the white man, they must be allowed to procreate. It's only fair, and we wouldn't want to be unfair, right? Therefor, only white people, especially entrepreneurs and the rich will be injected with bleach, and this will continue until each race is equally represented in equal numbers.
@Engineerman: And you could run a turbine on diesel, gas, ethanol, or even cooking oil. Expensive to develop, and the EPA and safety nannies would shoot it down because it's different, and not mainstream.
Personally, I think kids should be banned outright. I mean, every child who is born eventually dies. That's a 100% mortality rate, and sometimes they die of horrible causes, like cancer, or being crushed by a large piece of machinery.
It's disgusting that we would accept this in modern society. The only way to handle this issue is to inject children with massive amounts of bleach as soon as they emerge from the womb. The bleach destroys them cleanly, and is cheap enough to use on the many ingrates who would violate such a government mandated ban.
We could start the ban by granting a tax credit to couples who voluntarily inject their children with bleach, and after it's passed into law, simply expand the program until everybody dies. Trust me, America would be a much safer place with zero children.
