i will watch this in person.. just for the sound... and the possible "reliability" issues of running turbos in a "long" high-speed race... vehicular carnage anyone..?
@BrtStlnd: that is the most i've ever made in my life... and i now make less... as does my wife... we get by. we get by. there is nothing 'new' in our apartment (other than the occasional clothing items)... i drive a beater and own a back-up beater (and i can't afford to fix either one in to a nicer vehicle) she drives a nicer car that was bought through a "ford family plan" connection that we pay interest free payments back to a family member...
it sucks. but we get by...
difference (between my wife and i.. and the brothers in the article) is that we both have bachelors degrees.. and would definitely consider masters-- if we thought it'd ever be worth it.... but so far, our 8 years out of school have not shown us that it would be....
i voted nice price... but mainly because i want to see what other vehicles he has available (as mentioned in the ad)
oh.. and because i love land yachts.. if the interior is decent (which we don't know) then i'd give up 5k for this thing... and then drive the 2.5k miles home in it... loving it the whole time
@FromaBuick6: Now with more 5.0: i told my driver's ed. instructor that i would be driving an '84 buick lesabre sedan. he said "oh, we need to make sure that you drive something of comparable size power!" so.. i got to drive a freakin' 4 cyl corsica........ yeah.. that thing was a shitball and i knew it before i ever even saw it... i knew the name..... i told him i'd be better off in the 5 spd. S10 (which was also newer than the corsica) he said 'nope, you don't need to know how to drive a manual for your car' i told him "i already know how to drive a manual and want to do so." i drove the corsica.... it only broke down 3 times in the total of 8 hrs. that i drove it......... (2 2hr sessions and 4 1hr)
@ranwhenparked: part of the reason that saturn was made a separate brand was to give the "personal, no more B.S. customer service/salesman" view of the brand.... which i agree they should have done with all their brands... instead of creating a "no B.S. family brand" (more or less allowing everyone to infer that all the other brands are going to give you all kinds of sh*t from the time you walk on the lot.................) i think they were hoping that no one would realize that saturn was a GM product... and would become incredibly profitable....
