@Turboner: it's a drag it's a bore it's really such a pity.
i damaged my left eye in a blunt force trauma injury in 1997. it's now 20/300 without glasses, but WITH an artificial lens implant. i knew at that time i was no longer a pilot, unless you count motorcycling as some do.
with 25-series rear tires, i can PROMISE you, this is NOT a dragster.
just took this pic out my window at work a couple minutes ago. he made it.
@Frank Grimes: unless you're mormon, you're only supposed to have one.
why do i think it's "simpliCATE" and that Wm Stout said it long before Chapman?
so, it appears to have an engine that is similar to original. if that engine could keep cool enough to win multiple LeMans, tell me: why did they have to append the body with all those scoops and ducts and inlets that the original didn't need? it looks like a "slow" eighth grade boy took drawings of a GT40 and "improved" the design. FAIL.
@Lee M. Janotta: i thought , "simpliCATE", and that it was originated by William Stout, not Colin.
@Maxichamp: yep we get 'em up here in the Last Frontier all the time !
@Jordih: pic attached of one i caught by hand in massachusetts too many years ago
@BlueRSX: thank you. i stew every day in the ignorance of those who don't think 7 billion organisms affect an ecosystem
i drive a miata year round in alaska. what this guy calls "atrocious" is laughable. pansies in DEED.
does anybody remember a book from the early 70's about the dirt bike riding dog? my school had it when i was in 5th grade and i've not been able to find it. dog competed with owner in races, rode on a piece of carpet on the tank. maybe same dog as that old baja pic?
CRAP ! $8k is a lot of money to a guy who spends a half mill on a car. NOT. put this in the "not a real issue" category.
@Ben Wojdyla: wrong: reaction times DO count. when i tell you that i'm certain because i'm the 2007 state champion m/c racer, THEN i'm just bragging.
drag races are won and lost by ten-thousandths of a second, so to be a prick and a stickler....a "prickler", no. that's "not as close to perfect as you can possibly get". i cut a .0001 reaction time once. that was PRETTY close, but the more decimal places you add...
you're not too bright. it's common to lower bikes to accel. harder sans wheelie.@discontinuuity is now meme-free:
