<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on New V8-Powered Pagani Zonda Spotted Again?]]> @turbo zero: I'm glad I'm not the only one in that school of thought. There's just something about a V-12, a certian prestige that you don't have with a V-8. It's the same reason you look at a Mercedes SL to see if it's a lowly SL500 or a SL600 with a mighty V-12. I'm sure this thing will be as wild as the first one, but it won't feel the same. But it's still teh hotness.

]]>
<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on New V8-Powered Pagani Zonda Spotted Again?]]> teh hotness...but I'm a little disappointed that they're dropping a few cylinders. I know it'll still make big power but it seems that much less exotic. It's Italian exotica, it needs a crazy powerplant to fit its character.

<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on Moron Drives Through High School Practice Fields]]> Looks like he was just trying to recreate that scene from "Smokey & the Bandit" to me. +1 for good air in a grand marquis, -1000 for doing it on a high school practice field.

<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on What Would You Convert Into A Rally Car?]]> 1G talon - Mine. Everytime I'm on a dirt road I have this thought. I know it's kind of conventional because guys have been rallying these for awhile now but it just feels right on dirt.

<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on 1987 Mitsubishi Starion]]> I LOVE these cars, used to be in a DSM club and a guy always showed up with his red Conquest...not only did it look great it was #1 hoonmobile. There's a white one that showed up at the back lot of the building next to my office in the last couple of days, I can't help but daydream over it.

<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on A Quartet Of Chevy Pickups Down On The Denver Street]]> There's a DOT's cantidate near one of my jobsites in Denver, right where I park there's a AMC Marlin that sits on the street. I'll have to remember my camera next time I'm down there

<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on NASCAR Themed Mini-Bar Doesn't Surprise One Bit, Hic!]]> I'm ashamed to say....I own this.

My wife bought it for me cause she knows I'm a car guy. I actually kinda like it, tucks the shot glasses away in a neat little package BUT it still sits behind closed doors because I can't handle that much tackyness out on public display.

]]>
<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on 2009 Cadillac XLR-V]]> @Lounatic: I understand that but it doesn't change that it's meh to me. Isn't a halo car supposed to generate interest in a brand? If people aren't that interested in your halo car then how interested can they be in the brand? As a halo car I don't think it gets the job done, the CTS and CTS-V (imho) generate more interest than the XLR.

]]>
<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on 2009 Cadillac XLR-V]]> The owner of our company has an XLR, he parks it right in front of the front entrance. It's one of 2 or 3 where I live and to me it's not that exciting. I don't see this thing selling well, its just kinda...meh

]]>
<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on What's Your Favorite Patch Of Asphalt?]]> Hwy 6 from Golden to Blackhawk (Colorado) is pretty amazing if you go early in the morning on a weekday. It winds along Clear Creek for miles with lots of tunnels to resonate through.

Also great is Hwy 14 through the Poudre canyon outside Fort Collins but you've got to go at an off peak time to avoid the touristy types that like to take in the view at 20mph.

<![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on We Like To Call This The Puppy Crusher]]> um....I didn't see any flex sections on the exhaust, won't the vibrations from the engine rip the exhaust from the rigid frame rails? <![CDATA[bluecoupe commented on What's The Coolest Car You've Seen Parked On The Street?]]> Fort Collins, CO (all sightings in Old Town)
Orange 440 Cuda with the hockey stick stripe down the side

Ferrari F430 in a no parking zone for >2 hours & nobody seemed to care

And now there's an S5 I see in the mornings.
