My FWD Passat has equal lengths and virtually zero torque steer. But then again, the B5 platform was designed primarily for Audi quattro and 4motion, so the longitudinal engine makes it easier.

I forget about torque steer until I punch it in other FWD cars. #oppositelock

I didn't want to be the fart in the soup bowl, but I agree.
Typical Florida driver overreacting to things like "turns" and "hills."

I doubt the rain had anything to do with it.

Upper strut brace, not lower subframe brace, right?

On most modern passenger cars, you won't see much difference. I'd focus on maybe finding a rear sway bar if the car doesn't already have one...check the enthusiast forums, since results vary widely by model. Apart from track usage, upper strut braces don't usually do much with today's stiff unibody cars. My $0.02

Much better to save your money for actual suspension work. #oppositelock

Richard Cheese's version of "Down with the Sickness" is the better version of that song, too. #oppositelock
I guess it's the same way we Passat owners get "Nice Jetta!" #oppositelock
Yes, because used car retail shops just LOVE all those one-off show cars for their infinite marketability.

NP or not, good luck avoiding getting laughed at :D

One time we took a kid's bagged Civic on trade (probably had $5k+ in mods). Gave him NADA clean MINUS $1,000 for missing stock parts. Stuck the car inside the building for a few weeks as a curio, it drew a lot of traffic and got people to linger a little more. Then it was off to the auction. #oppositelock

Saw a new SE the other day...as derivative as it is, for a Camry, I was like "Hmmm...not bad." #oppositelock
"east of Los Angeles"

Matt, are you okay? Who's the president of the United States?

I-I don't know, that guy, that guy who was on T.V., the guy in the cowboy hat... he used to be on "Death Valley Days"... uh, John Wayne!

Get him out of here.

I went on Roku/Netflix and started watching Ancient Aliens for the first time.

After 10 minutes, Meme Guy didn't show up, so I lost interest. I'm not saying it was boring...

But it was boring. #oppositelock

Ditto the R8...saw my first one the other day and it was twice as good in person as in pictures. It was a spyder or whatever Audi is calling their convertibles now... #oppositelock
I've been enjoying these in oppo for a couple days now. Great photo meme.
Audi engineers are proud of the results of their new Kein Motorraum design campaign, which ensures the engine and subframe must be physically removed from the chassis in order to perform maintenance such as air filter replacements or spark plug changes. "This has been our goal for more than a decade," boasts chief platform engineer Markus DeBoer, "and we finally achieved it have."
It's going to look really interesting without a front plate. Like a chicken coop.

Yeah, I'd probably stick my cock in it.

Dear Jalopnik Forum,

I always thought your letters were fake and never thought this would actually happen to me...
