I have seen better plots and acting in adult movies. In fact the only difference between this short film and an adult film was that the money usually spent on the actress's chest was spent on renting cars. #nissangtr
Wert,

As you sit smugly in your Royal Oak apartment tonight, I want you to look South, past 696, past Ferndale and past 8 mile. Look South to communities like Highland Park and Hamtramck and realize that their blight and economic challenges are coming your way.

Just look at the number of advertisers buying ads on Jalopnik, you might not be able to pay your rent soon...
And I doubt being a pundit pays that well if at all.

Most of the time I enjoy Jalopnik, but this time your ego has gotten a little too big.

@timtoolman: It was me, I have been hiring people and it is amazing what google can tell you about a person if you have their full name.

The Best? 1991 Oldsmobile Silhouette. Remember when Little Ceasers had the "Pizza Pizza" deal with two large pizzas packaged side by side with a white paper sleeve? This was the only mini-van that could carry it on the dash.
I remember the first Woodward Dream Cruise in 1994, sitting at the corner of 14 Mile and Woodward in front of Buscemi's Pizza. It was pure pure magic. As the cops chased us away at about mid-night, we all knew that we had witnessed something special.
You had to be there.
Did you here Danica endorsed a meal at KFC?

It is the one that is all leg and no breast.

Remember the movie "Snatch"? When the guy fired the gun with blanks in the back seat of that Rover SD1?

Great scene when all the windows shatter.

I hate to tell this guy that most car jackings come from the driver's side.
I grew up in Detroit, the city that invented car jacking.

Have you ever seen Top Gear's review of it?
Jeremy actually liked it!

It will never work, no matter who hosts the show. The BBC is like PBS here in the states, state owned.

Dealers and OEMs have too much influence over the networks due to advertising dollars in the form of co-op dollar and brand dollars.

Look at Ford and American Idol or Pontiac and Survivor.

If HBO did the show, it would be frigging awesome!

These guys are screwing with the Teamsters, who are the only ones allowed to drive cars on the show floor. Remember what happened to Hoffa?
I am wondering how long it will take for this to be listed on eBay?
I thought only Teamsters could drive cars on the show floor?
The current Vauxhall Astra in Europe has Bluetooth as a 300£ option. When the Astra comes to the US, it will not have it as an option. Same factory almost the same vehicle, why not offer it now?

Nope, we get OnTard...

What about Banger Rallying? In the UK they have a few and we have one in the US that goes from New York to New Orleans for $250 cars (www.baberally.com). Basically, the more you breakdown, the greater your chances are of winning. I did the 2006 rally and it was a lot of fun and not too expensive if you don't count the hotel bills.
@UDMAN: Holy crap, you are right about the bumpers. I just looked at my 67, and it the same.

Also, in 1965 they had an all Aluminum straight six.

"...coming September 11th..."
What is it with that date and domestic terrorism?
I own a 1967 Rambler American with the 199cid version of the motor with 105,000 miles on the original engine. I drive it almost everyday on 87 octane gas, have not burned a valve yet.
