I got so lucky. A few months ago I found a local flower grower who has her own floral shop. She mostly does weddings, but will do single arrangements too. Flower farm is 4 miles away, store front is on my way home from work. I'm a guy. I don't know anything about flowers. But this lady makes great looking stuff and is passionate about her craft. It's like a tuner-shop for flowers. So I get these labor-of-love arrangements made with locally grown flowers and it makes the stuff from the FTD McFlower places look like crap on a stick. My girl loves them. Bonus points for being custom/1-off/local-grown. She had me take like 30 pictures of the last one. Try to find a florist like that if you can. You won't regret. #oppositelock

I think that most Prius drivers (in the USA) get it all wrong by accelerating hard off the line. They cruise below the speed limit, but waste a ton of energy getting up to speed. If I'm approaching a traffic light I always queue up behind the Prius because I know they'll come off the line like it's a drag race. Of course I have to make a quick lane change before they top out at 3mph under the limit.

What are the odds? I only have time to watch 2 or 3 streaming movies in a month and it's usually something more "couple compatible". The movie rocks by the way. I watched the original "Italian Job" a few weeks ago and watched "Harry Brown" last night specifically because it was a Michael Caine film.

I miss Tivo and what it would be today had it matured to its potential. It had a user-interface that my wife didn't get frustrated with. It had the most ergonomic remote ever created. It figured out what I liked and suggested shows I wasn't aware of. Often times its recommendations were good ones. It knew who my favorite actors were and would automatically record shows or even interviews they appeared in. 10 years later it's still better than my Dishnetwork DVR with it's utterly shite interface and complete lack of "smart" features.

I'm so torn between an FJ80 and FJ100 right now. I want the engine and interior refinement of the 100 with the utility of the 80. Too bad there are no 105s in the USA. That would do the trick.
