Ok, now that I can answer fully...

So the deal is that you have to balance your car for "springiness". If you make the frame stiffer, the suspension has to compensate for it so that you can still easily maintain tire contact on all 4 sides.
As far as the guys that Cabe mentioned, it's not a good policy to have tires lifting.

If you have the frame stiff as a rock, you'll have to play with your suspension. If you want to truly nail your cars' performance, you'll have to find out the spring rate for your car, and get springs according to that. Reason? This way the suspension will be soft enough to allow for rolling - roll is easier to feel than slip - while being stiff enough to keep up your speed.

As far as which one to get, couldn't tell ya... You can try the race and see what it does.

Here's the thing that I've learned-... OhshitI'msupposedtobeinschool!

I'll get back to this post later!

So very true... So very true...

Guy has no clue what he has... They did a gen switch in 70, when all three of the mfg's started going with rather different designs.

Dude, drive that around Portland... Everyone would go "WTF is that".

Much the same story applies to the Sellwood Bridge over here in Portland, OR.

Difference is that it already had a severe weight reduction on it - firetrucks, buses, etc cannot cross it - and even after that it's a very iffish bridge.

Thank the heavens they started construction after they extorted the $20/car as a "County registration fee".

Which bridge is that?
Hm, now I gotta figure out how I'd work an electric mower.

+1 to the Subi. Just make sure the rad, timing belt, front seals, and pulleys are good.

If they are, you are golden.

... Although the shocks may be out, still, Subi is the way to go.

Realistic project car of my dreams...

VW van? Hell no, the engine will require at least 3K worth of parts since it's guaranteed to be fried.

Volvo 1800ES? I would have about 300 dollars left in my account as of today if I would have gone ahead with that $3000 deal the guy proposed.

Golf Mk4 1.8T? Nope, eats as much as Legacy, and at that rate I'd get that.

Bonus: Subaru Impreza/Forester? Nah, get Legacy, they all get the same mileage.

The actual project I got? Chevy van for $5. I didn't even know they built had them back in the 60's.

Is it a dream project? Nope, just decided to save something worth while.

Hehehehe, that immediately reminded me of the comic.

It's the way they operate... That's honestly how they are supposed to sound, cockney goofballs who for some reason kick ass even for being dumb-asses.

I would not have bought it for the original 50. That's a bit too much for what it is, and there are some glaring issues with AI.

For the 17 it's good stuff. I wonder how wretched the online will be. :)

Mmm, hacky slashly maim-a-thon.

Pretty good so far for 17 bucks. Lvl 4 boss was... Obnoxious.

Oh, in case you guys are wondering, it's WH40K: Space Marine, ala PC.

2nd option: Old fashioned, looks slick as hell though.

1st option: WTF... Nuff said.

6-barrel V6?
Isn't that almost "gallons to the mile" territory?

Up to 5" or so IIRC is the area that sensitive.
After that it's flesh and the cervix.

Don't ask why or how or where I got this info...

Aye, I know what you're talking about. Unlike my buddy who had more "disposable" income - read, he didn't have spending control as much - got all kinds of stuff, and he rarely plays anymore.
