@maximum-sienna: First I thought we had fallen into a time warp and it was 1950 again, then I realized you're talking about the NEW Beetle. That's how memorable that car is.
@Hoccy: "They always send the good stuff to Europe and sell the crappy cars in the US. The Camry was mildly only boring, whereas the rest of the world go the full-on narcolepsia inducing Avensis".
@jakebonz: Your Honor, I hope this will help you make the right decision when you consider the number of penalty laps given for this simple accounting mistake.
@Don Fehlio: Funny you should mention that. Long, long time ago, before the credit and gas crunches (when a Nissan Armada with an 8-yr car loan was considered a reasonable daily driver) Jalopnik used to have a segment like that...
You can't fix that awful C-pillar with a quick facelift, unfortunately. This car has replaced the previous generation and older Chevy Malibu in my mind as the "Worst way to spend $20K".
Tell me which one has better viscosity in higher and lower temps, 10W30 dino or synthetic?
Two main benefits of synthetics are 1) you can get 0W oils for better flow at cold weather, and 2) They hold together longer so you can use extended (as in 7500+ mile) oil change intervals.
