During the San Diego fires a few years back i had to live in my SUV with my dog for 5 days. We were evacuated at the last minute and i had only a hour to pack all my belongings and my dog as the fire approached.
We parked by a local campsite, then the beach
It was hard and exhausting and a glimpse of what might be if i lost my job.
