It's hardly a bad performance engine, however, if they ever asked 'what car has the most difficult to work on engine' it sure would be a contender! (I have an NA z32 myself :)
For the same reason our constitution guarantees protection from undue search and seizure. Our constitution was set up to limit government's power to protect us somewhat from a corrupt government should it ever come to pass. Read about McCarthyism to see an example of why someone might want to shield their perfectly legal and non-malicious communications from our government.
What's really stupid about the Samsung commercial is that you can buy a stylus for any touchscreen device. They might as well have advertised that their new phone comes with a charger. I mean this one is less than $2!

As a 300zx owner I have to laugh. You absolutely cannot get an 'excellent shape' TT z32 for $8k. Look at what real cars are selling at - $12k and up for 'decent' condition. Now a NA z32, yes you can get a decent one for $5k, while not as fast in a straight line, they are quite a bit of fun.
You know what ID stands for?
Idiots' Delight.
cool! I believe the file you're looking for is 'build.prop' in the system folder. I think I edited it just through ES File Explorer. Of course save a backup of that file before changing. This post has a description of someone doing the same thing:
[forum.cyanogenmod.com] you only have to do this if a game you want to play (like most Gameloft games) won't work. Also, not every game will work even if you do this. I got Asphalt and Shine Runner working by doing this, but Backstab is funky, gets to the gameplay, but starts acting crazy.
Couple other points:

1. the first time you install CyanogenMod its very slow to start up. Just be patient it takes a while to load that first time. After that it boots instantly, much faster than WebOS.

2. Get ES File Explorer - it's awesome especially if you have a NAS. I can access it from anywhere via FTP. Live streaming of music and movies from anywhere.

3. MX Video Player is the most compatible with the most formats.

4. ES Task Manager is another great app to have.

Cyanogen Mod keeps your WebOS install completely intact and boots Android completely separate from it. So you can still have your overclock on WebOS and it wouldn't affect Android at all. Overclocking the Android boot requires an extra install of something like SetCPU from the market after you get Android on it. Mine worked fine overclocked in Android for a while, but would occasionally go into what's called the 'sleep of death'. All I had to do was hold the power button for about 30 seconds to reboot, but it was annoying enough that I just uninstalled the overclocking software. It runs fast enough as is.

If you download anything from the market that doesn't run (games usually) you can get them to run just by changing the name of the system in a configuration file. I got Shine Runner working by changing it from 'HP Touchpad' to 'HTC [something]'. Doesn't effect anything else really. Some apps just check the system name and won't run if its not an 'approved' system. But the touchpad hardware can handle just about anything even if the aspect ratio gets a little skewed. Google the CyanogenMod forums to get more info about stuff like that. You can get Skype video working too, it won't work from the Market install, but there's instructions on the forums on how to get it working.

Also updating is very easy. You can update from the boot menu, but even if you ever had to reinstall from scratch, after you have installed once you won't be scared to. It's an easy process and the first time was just intimidating because it was unknown for me.

Serious - I'm not just bsing, I fix computers all the time for my neighbor who buys em cheap at swap meets. The one's with Norton or McAfee have still been absolutely ridden with viruses, often requiring a full drive format and Windows install. Top record I found was 800 something viruses and over 200 malware, detected by Avira and MalwareBytes. This computer had Norton installed and was reporting everything normal (except it wouldn't Windows update and was slow as molasses).
It's easy enough to revert if you aren't happy with it. And it's very stable if you don't overclock. I did run into a couple issues with overclocking, but once I removed that it was good. In other words - why wait? It's pretty awesome right now.
Symantic, Norton, McAfee -- All terrible bloated pieces of crap software. Free antivirus like AVG and Avira are lightweight and much better at actually detecting and removing viruses.
McAffee is terrible anti-virus software. It's an over-bloated POS. AVG and Avira are much better. You would hardly be 'settling' - just because someone paid for it doesn't make it better.
We have one here with Cyanogen Mod Android on it. Works well enough. It's become more of a portable television than anything else. Netflix, HBO Go and movies off our NAS, works really well.
I have no problem putting a 30 yo over my knee and spanking her ass either. Kinky!
I always wonder why articles about vinyl always turn into a flame war about which format is better. Why does anyone care so much about what someone else likes? You listen to what you like and I'll listen to what I like. Vinyl sounds better to me that CDs, but if you like your CDs or FLAC files better, hey whatevers. You might as well argue about how vanilla is better than chocolate.
There are hundreds of stores that sell vinyl in NYC. They all specialize, so depending what you're into one or another will be where you want to go. I always liked going to Turntable Lab on 7th street in the east village. They have a great website, so no need to go to NYC to order up some vinyl. Rock and Soul in midtown is always a fun visit too as they have a good selection of DJ equipment along side their prodigious assortment of hip-hop/dancehall/house records.
