Technically I think that's the 7E7, which was the precursor to the final 787 design. You can see the difference in the nose, cockpit windows, and wing design.

I had what amounted to cold horse meatloaf in Paris a few years ago. It wasn't great.
I just did the tour the other day and the guide was saying that during failure testing they got the wing tips 25' higher than they are in normal flight circumstances before they snapped (as seen in the above video). Absolutely nuts.
Their first one they ordered is sitting outside the Everett facility right now.
