Well, Lamborghini is all about heritage... since Lambo made their fortune on tractors, it's entirely appropriate that the Estoque have a diesel engine... Imagine the fields you could plow with it!
@LTDScott, Porcubimmer pilot: I haven't seen what you're talking about yet, but I have seen a few 2nd gen cressidas with 5-speed conversions and fender mirrors... those things are JDM ghetto-fabulous and I can't deny that I'd rock one... I'd love to see someone rock that huge yellow CalTrans car, though!! lol.... it has its own crash deflector
@FuzzyPlushroom: Well, since you're from MA, I'll forgive you, because I have to contend with the insane banjo-twanging of Cal Worthington commericals.. DANANANANNA GO SEE CAL! GO SEE CAL GO SEE CAL GO SEE CAL!! !
dis-gusting.
If you took away the steward penalties to Hamilton and Ferrari's engine failure and pit stop debacle, Massa *would* have won. I mean, engine failure, while leading, 3 laps from the checkered flag?!
Two years ago, McLaren seemingly couldn't finish a race with Kimi there, yet mysteriously, Hamilton comes onto the scene and magically McLaren has their shet together. Not ONE mechanical failure. Not one. Where is the McLaren of 2004, 2005 and 2006? What's with the sudden change?
Ugh.
And I *still* hate that smug bastard Hamilton and his evil smug father; I wouldn't mind him so much if he weren't able to outsmug every Hypermiler Prius owner on the planet.
@Ray Wert: I'm beginning to question your taste, Wert. Hulk Hogan wears Ed Hardy. Nothing Hulk Hogan wears is cool.
This graphics treatment looks outdated and dare I say, outright stupid. I could've drawn up a better graphics package on a cocktail napkin. I guess they could've done worse, though short of leapord print, I can't say how. Way to ruin the car's sex appeal, Christian Audigier.
Wow, that's not at all bad! It's looking more euro, which is a HUGE plus, now if only they'll change the grill just a little bit-- oh hell, the aftermarket can make me one. If I can get this with AWD, I may just have to stop driving my very modded MN12 Thunderbird.
God, I hate Lewis Hamilton.
If he wins the title, we will NEVER hear the end of it.
He's so smug, hopefully this devotionistic act will boost his ego enough that'll he'll overdrive the car and wreck in Brazil.
God, I hope Massa wins next week.
As if the Speed coverage of F1 wasn't Hamilton biased enough-- surely some of you Jalops out there agree that if this kid wins the title this year, the press will NEVER shut up about it.
It's kind of telling that someone is doing something this crazy for Hamilton.. personality cult indeed.
Stock for stock, a Fairlady Z G-nose 240Z with fender-flares, far tires, rubber rear spoiler, rear window louvers and a manual tranny. That's my favorite, though it may not be the fastest. Of the modern Z-cars, I have to say I used to love the Z32 300ZX, but recently it's started to look increasingly dated-- for whatever reason the supra's styling still looks ok-- but I still feel a little flutter in my chest when I see a pearl white Z32 twin turbo... If I were to have a 300ZX twin turbo, it'd have to be a 99 model from Japan or a 94 US model (Variable valve timing IIRC, pre-OBD II)
@the artist formerly known as dolo54:
Wow, that car is so ridiculously obscene. I want one. It's so egregious. Oh, and I think another example of ridiculous pornstar-tastic caddies is a Cadillac Brandyberry (or however the hell you spell it).. thing looks like Cruella DeVille would drive it.
@Murilee Martin: Obviously you've never tried to get a broken supercoupe RUNNING. The hell that is supercoupe. They are a different beast once they're in the junkyard-- it's different when it's broken in your driveway, and you can't get at a damn thing to fix it. Junkyard parts are not easy to find because they're already broken... Oh, and that Mazda is the pure hell here.
That's my building in the background! I'm on Jalopnik! w00t. Oh, and this is the 9080 SIX, not 90801. Get your zip codes right.
This is SOUTHBOUND between the Cherry Ave and Lakewood Blvd exits.
Where the hell is the basketcase thunderbird Supercoupe?? They are SO PCH and SO in the PCH price-range. You guys needed one for this, not that ridiculous Beretta.
