Nobody's claiming people think it's real.

We're claiming the ads are just very bad at selling trucks.

I don't think anyone things they're reality. We certainly don't think they are. But what they are is ridiculously bad at making people want to buy a pickup truck made by Nissan.
But they're also not very good at telling you what the truck actually can do. As another commenter -- and former Frontier owner -- said earlier:

"I agree that the ads do suck - they do absolutely nothing to sell the trucks, they just show a bunch of crap that the truck CANNOT do. Their main competition here is the Tacoma, and I believe that the Frontier is a much better truck. It is less expensive, more powerful, and simpler. The four door version also feels bigger inside than the Tacoma. Maybe they should focus on those things instead of barrel rolls."

Truck buyers want details. At least those old Toyota Tundra ads tried to actively tell you something about the truck. These are just ridiculous wastes of time.

And, because somebody obviously didn't read the post -- you're banned.

Actually, here's the cool part -- the guys at Classic Car Club of Manhattan pulled out the old bulbs and installed a tiny low-energy red LED light just so they didn't have to disconnect the battery each time someone wants to leave the doors up. They figure everyone will want to have the doors up anyway, so why not make it easier and do it in a way that won't put a heavy drain on the battery. Smart thinking, right?
Yeah, that was hilarious.
Actually, none of the above. Should have been "...in Lego."
