Hey, I just saw a '67 Firebird with Lambo doors, so that's older. It musta been the origin. Hard to believe, but it had some very tacky shag carpet, too.
@brandegee: I saw him run this car at OCIR at the Last Drag Race
Freakin awesome.
@bonestock94: Well, if you think back to where he started with Wayne Gapp, making any turn is unexpected
Well, I always knew you played for the other team, but that's alright I do too, as you could discern from my names, RC51, Velocitré (speed triple).

Looking forward to your full-time efforts on HFL.

Does this bike make my ass look fast?
@nick2ny: Most of the early European F40's were delivered with Perspex windows, but I believe that all of the American and Japanese cars had rollup windows. Many of the originals with Perspex have been retrofitted (but keep those old ones as they are more rare)
@Sauber: Yes, in California a freeway is a high speed highway with broad shoulders, no cross traffic, and limited access (access only by on-ramp, although the ramps on the Pasadena with the stop signs at the bottom should void its freeway status)
@layabout: I proposed to her by email a few years back, it seems she was married at the time, but would keep my address in case things went sideways. Still checking my new messages with cautious optimism....
What's the link to the Porsche website? When I click the full size link, all I can save is the web page. Can anyone help?
Well, it's either the widened Golf body on a shortened 928 chassis that Buchman at B&B did in the 80's, or the Renault F1 Espace
@Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: Brembo's are usually pretty well pared down to start with, and further reduction typically reduces rigidity as well, resulting in more noise. I'd would have tried modifying the brake pad composition to change the harmonic frequency before hanging crap off of the caliper.
I'm going to start a new bling company selling tungsten wheel weights (I'll use depleted uranium for the Chinese market)
@Elhigh: Well, first I'm going to tell you to put your hands behind your back
@Mad_Science: Hmm, a step in the right direction, even though I see several entries by that mad_science fellow...
@Deartháir II: Mitch, thanks for your well-thought good bye. I am in much agreement about the direction that this site is heading. As one of the old farts, I appeal to Ray, or anyone else, to create a site that takes us back 2-3 years to where we used to appreciate a factory supercharged Rambler, or a 340 six-pack that was neither purple or topless, or a m22 rock crusher, or a 308 with a measly 175 HP. There was enough of us back then, there must still be enough for a site that caters to us without aspirations of taking over the world
@.357: Yes, and everyone else from Procol Harum and Rare Earth in 1973, through Arlo Guthrie and Van Halen around '76, The Wall in L.A. in The Dead Kennedy's and Suicidal Tendencies in the early Eighties, The Gin Blossoms and and Nirvana in the Nineties, and The Killers with my middle daughter last year. I stand by my statement. You have , however, started me on a mission to try and write down all of the ones I have attended. And that is a daunting task given my mental state at most of them.
@TimTim: Okay, I can reiterate essentially the same situation about Celine Dion. I've been to 60+ concerts, and the only person/band that sounded as good in person as their albums was Pink Floyd. And they both started on time. Congrats Engineerd. Just another in a long legacy of awesomeness. .
I don't see how any car could better the McLaren M1, Matt
#3 - The Lamborghini of snow machines! It's got a second engine for the trailer. And it freaking floats!
