<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on New Photos Reveal The 2009 Ferrari California In Glorious Detail]]> Sorry but the rear seems like it was cribbed off a Chinese knockoff of a good looking convertible. The stacked exhaust looks cheesy as well. Front looks very nice but the mash up in the rear just blows the whole deal.

<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented]]> The Lincoln MKX comes equipped with 20's and they look this HUGE like this. I don't think the Caddy will skimp on wheel size. I would expect at least 20's.

The first Chocolate SUCKED and just about everyone who owned one agrees. I say "owned" because they all traded it in for something less full of fail.

<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on Hasselblad H3DII-50 has 50-Megapixel Sensor, Double the Largest 35mm Sensor]]> Up to ISO400?? Isn't that pretty pathetic? I mean with the light gathering capabilities of a double size chip it's not that big a deal I guess. Meh I don't know. Sounds pretty fantastic really.

<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on 2009 Kia Soul caught in Seoul]]> "It's less successful from the front, with the hood appearing to be eternally open."

As Badco pointed out, that's because it IS open. Geez. It also appears that the side mirrors face rearward and the wheels only spin while the car is moving.

<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on Michigan Governor Proposes Lower Speed Limits, Removing Last Reason To Stay In Michigan]]> I already do that. I've been driving 60 in the slow lane, accelerating slower, and coasting instead of breaking (when possible) for about a month and have increased my mileage by 20% in mixed driving. 30mpg jumped up to 36. And my car is rated for 35mpg HWY yet I got 40 on my 4th of July trip:) We don't need a LAW.

<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on 2009 Kia Forte Sheet Metal Meets Web, Web Likey]]> This looks great, now if they could just put in a (insert overpowered, inefficient engine choice here) it would be perfect.

Times are changing people. This doesn't need a V6. It needs a SMALLER engine than the NA 2.0.

]]>
<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on Diesel Ford Fiesta Smokes Prius, Gets 62.5 MPG]]> I still don't understand the prevailing mentality among automakers that they can't sell highly efficient vehicles here. That new Kia will probabaly only come with the 2.0 liter engine instead of the 1.6. I hope somebody out there is catching on that fuel efficiency is trumping prodigious power at this point.

<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on Speed:Sport:Life Pits GT500 Against F430 Against Elise Against... Caliber SRT-4?]]> C+D sucks. Putting the 2010 Mustang on it's cover as one of the future "cars worth waiting for" and then blasting it inside as an overweight retrobeast is just retarded. If you don't LIKE the car "which they obviously don't" why put it on your cover and say it's "worth waiting for"?

<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on 2009 Ford Flex, First Drive]]> @TomCelica:

The volvo/yamaha V8 is not a solution. Crappy economy, crappy power, and an even more expensive bottom line. The EcoBoost will be a winner but this vehicle needs to also be offered with the 275 hp 2 liter ecoboost 4 cylinder. Same horsepower as the current V6, but when driven sanely a much better mileage rating. Just don't dip into the turbo much on those ecoboost powerplants and you'll do well.

And 24 MPG (from the 2WD)is not bad for a 7 passenger 4000 lb vehicle. With some smart driving techniques I bet I could squeeze 26-28 out of it.

<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on 2010 Ford Mustang GT Interior]]> The Challenger is modern? OMG thats the most assinine design assesment ever. IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE OLD ONE! And regardless of what everyone THINKS this vehicle will look like, we have yet to see it sans camo so why don't we save the hating for later. Since I know it will be hated no matter how "modern" or "fresh" it looks compared to the '05.

]]>
<![CDATA[Muttonchops commented on Are We Entering A New Malaise Era?]]> And lets make it clear. The car companies made trucks and SUV's because that's what the market demanded. This is a market driven industry and now that the MARKET has changed the smaller cars will start to take over. I was in a customer clinic showing small cars back in 2005 and the comment we CONSTANTLY heard was "It's too small" and "Where's the trunk?"

THAT'S why we have big SUV's and a shortage of hatchbacks here in the U.S. Not because the auto companies are clueless but because that's what the customers said they wanted.
