"European "autogas" or as we Dutch call it "LPG", as I understand it, varies from country to country in it's component mixture. Around here though (NL, BE, DE) it's always 50% Propane and 50% Butane and all a by-product of oil refineries. I've read that American refineries just burn it off since there's next to no infrastructure in place to bring the stuff to market and (thus) no buyers either."
