<![CDATA[Mazda Plainview commented on Is Gotham City Really New York?]]> @Neon: indeed. as much as i love new york, and feel that every movie should be filmed/based on locations in and around new york city, gotham (at least, the new gotham) has that more chi-town feel to it. of course, these days most films about new york are filmed in philly, toronto or montreal.

<![CDATA[Mazda Plainview commented on X-Files Stars Are Old, Moany]]> @JennaW: I <3 you, for the record, esp. after that "chip on your shoulder" comment

@Dunny0:
and by the way DannyO - I was using the 16 hour work day as an example - you are the one who turned it into a "sucky jobs" competition

]]>
<![CDATA[Mazda Plainview commented on X-Files Stars Are Old, Moany]]> @gurnemanz: @JennaW:
and when you go to war, or to a shitty job working 16+ hours a day on your feet and knees, lifting heavy machinery or not standing still (as my father did, every day for 20 years as a printer) you get paid like crap.

with movie making, at least when it comes to the actors in this film (and some of the behind the scenes producers, directors, etc) you have a bunch of millionaires complaining about running back and forth 200 times in a week.

]]>
<![CDATA[Mazda Plainview commented on X-Files Stars Are Old, Moany]]> @gurnemanz: @JennaW:

i have to go with jenna on this one - i've done some crew work (indie flicks, documentaries, no action films though) and yeah, lifting all that camera equip. and standing on a toilet holding a boom mic for 12 hours isn't fun, or easy on the shoulders, but i don't know if i'd compare it to war either ;P

]]>
<![CDATA[Mazda Plainview commented on X-Files Stars Are Old, Moany]]> @Lizzie24601: that is pretty funny, i never did realize there were so many zany, unresolved aspects of the show until the opening list of the new york times' article.

of course, i am also a highlander fan, so continuity errors never did bother me :P
