So VA get's the earthquake, and VA and NC take the brunt of this hurricane hit....and everyone has been and will continue to be all about New York on both. New York gets our left over quake bits and hurricane bits, yet somehow they got the most important parts.
1976 Accord. First year of a long running model. It is both gorgeous, and a reminder of simpler times. We have a mint condition silver beauty in my neighborhood.
You know, the car will not lock and will make an obnoxious beeping sound at you if you try to leave the keys in the car. I don't really understand the hate for the push button start. I rather enjoy never having to remove my keys from my pocket.
This could also be viewed as $ now buys you more than a dollar spent in the future. If you take $50 and invest it to keep up with inflation, it is worth the same. If you kept the $50 it would not be worth as much in the future. So yes, a dollar now is technically worth more than a dollar in the future as far as value, but a dollar spent now will buy more than a dollar spent in the future. Right?
This should be interesting as far as contract law goes. A minor can avoid or cancel a contract signed while they were a minor while they remain a minor or for a reasonable amount of time after they turn 18. That is how it goes if the contract is for the purchase of something at least. In which case the minor simply has to return what they contracted to buy. Now if the individual signed away rights to something....hmmm
The Steelers aren't exactly a small market team. They are one of the most valuable franchises in sports, and they have an incredibly large and widespread fan base. The Packers on the other hand, definitely.
Then again, 100 million of those viewers tuned in for the commercials, and I can accept that.
