So I've done some digging, so the Forte hatch is the same as the Cee'd but the regular sedan was not sold in Europe, right?
I'm a bit confused, the Kia Cee'd and Forte had nothing to do with each other (different platforms). The Forte was never sold in Europe because the Cee'd was too similar in size. So are they now merging to the same platform (kinda like the Kuga and Escape are one and the same now) or is it just a mistake?
@ 3rd gear. Eh, I'm starting to lose faith in all this voice activated stuff. For example, my Xbox would pause and fast forward during certain shows in Netflix because the Kinect heard commands from the television. I don't want to drive my car and the infotainment system goes haywire because it thinks it heard a command from a song. I'm not saying this will happen in a car but I think I'll stick to knobs and switches in my car thank you very much.
Xbox, Netflix, play! Err, wrong thread.
Yay, streetracing in Tampa making us look good.....NOT!
NP for a money pit that isn't English. Hammond would agree.
I have one of those (not my pic) somewhere in the attic, it was given to me by a neighbor when I lived in Okinawa. That thing was awesome but when trying to do bulldozer things, it would fall apart.
Honestly, the STS is my guilty pleasure. I will own one eventually.
I'd love a Phaeton. How bout we all pitch in, buy one, and one of us can take turns being chauffeur. We can come up with fake flags to put on the front so we look like some sort of dignitaries from a foreign country and plead diplomatic immunity if we're ever stopped. We can call the country Jalopnistan and proclaim we have the highest consumption of diesel wagons in the world. Okay, time for me to step away from the keyboard....
If I read one more damn article where they say the 300 uses a Mercedes chassis, I'm gonna scream! Suspension bits and transmission does not equal chassis. Repeat, suspension bits and transmission does not equal chassis.
My bulldozer will offer to help.
And cue the flame war in TTAC that somehow gets Ray involved in 3, 2, 1.
For me it overlaps everything so I can't read anything :( It won't work under blog.jalopnik.com or jalopnik.com I even selected the option to render it as a desktop.
Aah, so there's a Jalopnik app for the Kindle Fire, $.99 a month. Hah! Jalopnik just wants my money :( Most websites render well with the Silk Browser though.
Agreed. I've tried to access this site from my Kindle Fire and it's unreadable. Everything just layers on top of each other and it looks terrible.
Damn, the DeLorean made it back from Argentina rather quickly!
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Here's pics of the interior, it's nicer than my apartment. [www.wired.com]
