LaughingAtFate commented on Oshawa, Ontario GM Plant To Build Mysterious Second RWD Vehicle, at 3:47 PM on May 15
It's almost a given that whatever is built alongside Camaro is going to be on the same Platform, That means Zeta.
Having said that, I doubt very strongly that it'd be any Existing Vehicle being built on the platform (ie, Pontiac G8, or any of the holden derivitives)
Having said that, my bet is on the Impala/Caprice, they're certainly deserving nameplates to have RWD and V8 power,
Mmm, I'd take one in black, with a LS3

LaughingAtFate commented on LYNX Mobile Crane Concept Gives Driver A View, at 3:46 PM on May 11
This is a solution to a problem no-one has asked for.
Not only that, but it's been answered before, with far less complexity and sillyness (I dunno the name of 'em, but I've seen single-cab crane-trucks before, they're rather 'short' compared to the traditional ones, but they're no less capable)

LaughingAtFate commented on Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir Special Edition Shows Bugatti's Dark Side, at 6:18 AM on May 4
@Cameron Thirteen: according to what I remember of the car, the tv screen was a reversing camera, seeing as the bodywork didn't exactly allow rear view mirrors
The true nature of the car was to showcase GM Holden's new V8 engine which they had developed.

@layabout: I might be mistaken, but is that an australian ford falcon?
if so, does that mean that america _can_ import those lovely neo-ranchero falcon ute thingies, cos I was under the impression that those things had the driving wheel on the wrong side!

LaughingAtFate commented on Wide Plains, Road Trains, A Whole New World Ahead Of Me: Toyota Of Australia, at 3:04 PM on Apr 18
I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that it's not an official toyota australia ad, the reason being, The flag at the tail end of the thing, that's the northern territory flag, which suggests to me that this is an ad put together for darwin and other various toyota dealers in the NT

LaughingAtFate commented on Geely Bringing King Kong, 22 Other New Models to Beijing, at 7:02 PM on Apr 11
the only problem I see is with the name "king kong" surely to goodness they could have made a balls to the wall 'supercar' in the realm of the Nissan GTR
then we could have a Godzilla Vs King Kong fightout at the racetrack
I await some hardy chinese jaloper to pull out their finger and actually create something that will be suitable for the name
