This is a pre-facelift model, you can tell because it has the older-style rear bumpers. Pre-facelift was 86-87. That is what you are looking at in the video. Also, hatches > all.

The CR-Z is slow, until you bring it to autocross. One of the better drivers in our region brings his, and completely kills the competition every time. Hell on street tires, it's only a few seconds off of the Super Stock cars on Hoosiers (think Z06 and Elise). I'd be embarrassed to go against the guy if he were on slicks.

Only if the Prius is at WOT and the BMW isn't. If the BMW is at WOT and getting passed by the Prius at WOT, I guarantee the BMW will be getting worse mileage. Yes I saw the Top Gear episode. And no, that BMW wasn't at WOT while chasing the Prius. If it were, it would have passed the Prius.
