@LappingLuke: But at what point do you draw the line? Will you ever trust the rest of the plane at any point? Will the government ever trust you to not kill everything in sight?

And in terms of the 'fight against terrorism' I know when we win: the terrorists stop. But what qualifies as them winning? Is it America surrendering or do we loose simply when we become more chaotic and turn to a state of confusion and fear?

Standing up to terrorism isn't invading every citizens privacy because you don't trust them, standing up is coming together as a country to say we are not afraid and we won't flinch.

it's not back and white, it's a lot of shades of grey. It's just worrisome when those shades of grey drift to solid black over time.
@LappingLuke: If you're so scared and need to feel safe, maybe you shouldn't fly.
Skinner than a Duesy. Gran pappy was a boat of a car.
@philaDLJ: Ford should have built that. They seem to be improving with the Fiesta though.
love me some statistics, I would like to see a variety of regressions run on this however. then get compare their AIC's and test if the variables in various combinations for significance.

The last analysis I did was on stock prices and interestingly the model with the lowest AIC and most statistically significant variables at the 10% level performed worse in back testing and real world modeling which had more statisically insignificant values. One of my beta's actually had a p-value of 30 or something but it still worked better in real world results.
@StandardResponse: mmmm efficient market theory, tastey
@Golden Commando: you should be ashamed of yourself, but I am on the verge of creating one as well and it is all becasue of that blasted Orosz.

In the vien of your KGB joke Ben; Russian Construction Elevator makes me think of something which would be the KGB equivalent of waterboarding except with vodka, fur hats, steam punk action and funny accents... so really nothing like waterboarding at all.
Damn plastic spiders, they should be illegal. Spiders in general should be illegal unless they come out of Italy but these silly Japanese ones end up being just stepping stones for ricer kids.
@A strolling player is uncomfortably excited: I've got a friend who does IT for a telecom and even though he loves other browsers he insists that all the employees use IE. He said he just didn't trust them to use other browsers where they might start downloading a whole lot of useless and potentially dangerous crap. Sadly the computer inept have ruined it for the rest of us.
It decided to self immolate once the proud stallion realized it's new owner wanted to smother it in chrome, gold and fur. It martyred itself in protest, I salute you young Scaglietti.

Sir Moss has lead the good life and lived the dream. May we all be half as fortunate.
@Alfisted: My favorite are the places where it's just a stack of red lights which go out after a few seconds, hoonage may then commence.
@A strolling player is uncomfortably excited: So you really want one huh? I'd hate to know what you would do for a Caterham, Alfa or Klondike Bar.
