<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on Car Mini-Fridge Is Meant To Be Used Responsibly]]> I have a pretty good 12v cooler that cools and heats food but the plug is broken. Gonna fix that but this would look great in the MegaCAB!

<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on Is The Mustang Still Relevant?]]> I would say it is very relevant due to being the "Halo" model for Ford going into the 2010 time frame.

It is still one of the best values on the market hands down. I rode in an 05 and was very impressed with the interior quality and materials. Yeah it is no Audi but I notice details and was very impressed.

The chassis is probably as stiff or more than even the early 90's Saleen Mustangs. Saleens used subframe connectors and braces to stiffen the Fox platform.

I'd like to see a 6 speed on the GT to see over 30mpg on the highway. It is 2008 I am sure they could reach that with the right gearing. My 98 Trans Am and 00 Camaro SS both had that nice lazy 6th gear that would cruise nicely at 80mph/28+mpg.

I think a great project will be finding an '05 used up rental V6 Mustang. Get a forged performance rebuild on the 3.8 and add a big turbo and front mount intercooler hidden behind the front bumper. Run drag radials on said rental car stock rims. Talk about fun at the drag strip.

Nice former ride man. Yeah mine was an M6.

BTW no Fbodys ever came with a HUD. The Pontiac Grand Prix did.

<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on Dodge Breeze, The Chinese Dodge, Spotted In Detroit]]> If it gets 40+mpg i'd drive one.

I can put it in the back of the Ram Megacab like a rollerskate.

]]>
<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Interior With Automatic Transmission, Shunt In Trunk]]> That was a bad spot for all the gauges in 1967 also IMHO.

<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on SEV Solar Roof Makes Prius Even More Prius-y]]> That is cool I remember the old Mazda 929 from the 90s having a solar panel to keep the fan inside the cabin running IIRC.

<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on So, What About The Porcubimmer?]]> Just watched the video. That car was quick! Nice work and a shame it didn't finish. Man I was lmao watching him pass the pirate Miata and the crx with the wing by Boeing. Awesome.

<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on So, What About The Porcubimmer?]]> Haha that is awesome! Brilliant.

]]>
<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on 2010 Nissan 370Z?]]> Looks like they are going more towards the original 350z concept from years ago. That had a more 240z look to it also.
Not bad but as someone else said i'd love to see the round headlights come back. But then I think of the 3rd gen Eclipse and I don't know.

]]>
<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on 1984 Mercury Topaz: Enlightened With Front Wheel Drive]]> Pops had 85 and 89 Tempos that both saw over 300,000 (mostly highway) miles through the subsiquent owners. Great cars for the time and a good value for the money. They were good looking cars also.

<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on Aussie Son Crashes Daddy's Ferrari 360CS]]> Used to sneak out the 6 month old 5 speed 89 Mustang GT when I was 14. Stayed home sick from school a couple times and had some fun. I'll never forget that one late sunny crisp morning cruising around the backroads listening to the Top Gun soundtrack on cassette. It was pure heaven.

]]>
<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on What's The Magic Word For '84? TURRRRRBO!]]> Well it helps that the 2.3 Ford 4 banger can pump out about 600bhp with the right turbo/fuel/intercooler setup. I am sure he is aware of this.

]]>
<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on Vanishing Point Dodge Challenger Wrecked On One Lap Of America]]> Farking have a crew of technicians from Chrysis with parts. They can have it painted up and fixed in a few hours.

]]>
<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on Geiger Ford F650 Is A Bit Late To The Game]]> These are for people that have to tow big construction equipment to job sites like contractors etc. Guess what, they could afford them when gas was $2 or even up to $10 a gallon. They aren't moving up from a ratted out 92 Honda Accord like some of the posters here.

I love people who say these are wasteful but just love sports cars that are useless for business, get 10mpg when driven the way most are, and go through tires in 5k miles.

]]>
<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on 2008 Mazda RX-8, Part One]]> Had an 04 GT w/ nav for 2 years. It is an excellent machine, I never found the handling limits.

Just don't flood it by cold start then running for under a minute like to move in a driveway. Trip to the dealer for that.

<![CDATA[IronEagle commented on What's The Best Video Game From This Decade?]]> GTR2 is the top racing SIM easily along with GT Legends. Sierra's NASCAR Racing 2003 is another classic. Copies go on Ebay for over $100 used. RFactor is another brilliant sim.
