<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented]]> I think I may just have get that bird's eye view, rear, 3/4 shot tattooed on my chest. That most likely will be as close as I ever get to owning the world's most beautiful car.

Wonder what it would look like with Porsche style round headlamps, though.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on Ten Car Platforms That Just Won't Die]]> I think Ford's Panther platform has been able to survive as long as it has because of many reasons, the most significant ones being that it is profitable, durable, and, can meet the current American crash/safety standards.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on Mazda Kiyora Concept Shows Off Fierce Nagare Design Language On The Paris Show Floor]]> Really like this one. I find Mazda's Nagare concept design direction a very attractive and welcome change from the current, disappointing stream of angry faced, thick around the middle, giant wheeled creations from most other studios.

Though different in concept the Nagare designs put me in mind of this:

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on 2009 Pontiac G3 Officially Coming To U.S. Market...Just Because]]> Which character most inspires the front end designs for Pontiac: Rocky, Bullwinkle, the Chucky doll, or Bucky Beaver? That, otherwise, inoffensive and harmless, little Gee3 doesn't deserve such a disagreeable face.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on Question of the Day: How Often Do You Upgrade Your Laptop?]]> A little over a week ago I shipped my MBP (purchased in June) to my nephew at school, so, at the moment I'm back to using my Y2K Pismo Powerbook. Obviously, I'm not a power(!) user, but, I'm eagerly awaiting for the MB update.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on Masterlock's iCage Bike-Lock-Style Case Chains-Down Your iPod]]> OK. It has never ceased to amaze me the overwhelming numbers of consumer products that, since the original iMac, have been either created in response to, built around, styled to look similar to, or have design elements influenced by Apple products.

I've always thought the 1st iMac looked like a giant version of the original cube shaped Sony Dream Machine clock radio.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on PCH, Murilee's Dream Musclecars Edition: 1969 AMC SC/Rambler or 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst?]]> I'm torn. Having cut my mechanics teeth many, many years ago working on both the family Newport (Magnum) and Plymouth GTX (6 pack) I've developed a soft(?) spot for all Chryslers 440 equipped, but, at the same time a 2 door, V-8, 4 speed, Detroit 1960s compact....near purrfection. Thanks yet again, MM.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on Mac minis Turned Into Other Fetish Boxes People Drool Over]]> Nice! "Lego Mac Mini" (kinda rolls off the tongue) in the kid's room, the "Mac Fuelie" could replace the Pismo in my garage and the "Quadra" is very cool.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on Ten Most Beautiful Cars Currently For Sale]]> Nice list and kudos for having the C6 and CTS on it. I hope that the Continental GT, Pontiac Solstice, Audi A5, Weissman GT and Porsche Cayman were serious contenders as well.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid, Part Three]]> Though the Tahoe and its GM fullsize brethren are not my kind of ride, I am more than a little thankful that they are desirable to a lot of people. Without the huge amounts of money these big boys bring into GM, though I am just making a guess, all of the goodness that we've witnessed of GM in the last few years (Camaro, ZR1, Malibu, V-series Cadillacs, rear drive Holdens, Lambdas, Pontiac Solstice, Gee8, GTO, etc.) would have probably turned out a lot less competitive, if they had turned out at all.

Making their least efficient and most profitable vehicles more efficient while the market for them still exists sounds like a good thing to me, not to mention helping GM battle government fuel economy regulations. Hopefully some of those profits will go into bringing that new Buick Riviera Concept (I want it!) to market.

Oh, nice review and that Tahoe has a pretty nice interior.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on The Ten Ugliest Cars Currently Sold In The United States]]> Honda Accord coupe. Looks like a G6 in drag. The whole car is a mass of random surface angles, creases and curves. The rear side windows are upside down. A deep gouge runs along the body sides. The rear 3/4 view highlights the mess that is the bumper/tail light/fender curve/wheel arch flare combination...and the obligatory antenna wart and odd Honda steering wheel. Ugh!

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on Is the 2010 Camaro A Home Run, Strike Out Or Double Off-The-Wall?]]> I'd call it a slide in triple. Good car for GM. Two door vehicles will always get a thumbs up from me. It looks handsome and aggressive in an oversize wheels, wide to the ground, computer perfect way, just not sexy. I love the purported perfomance, but, I don't see replacing my '01 SS Camaro with this new one as I had originally hoped. I find the clean cut '06 GTO more attractive inside and out.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on 59 Old Vehicles Down On The Streets Of San Francisco]]> Very nice collection of photos! Awesome way to start the week, MM.

<![CDATA[GTBruiser commented on 1970 Lincoln Continental Mark III, Plus Bonus Lincoln Poll]]> Love that Continental. I remember, as a kid, my Uncle William once telling me the reason he switched from Thunderbirds ('60, '63 and a '66) to the Mark III was that "the Thunderbirds lacked that whiff of Pimpmobile that came as a standard feature on this Mark". My aunt called it a motorized casket because of all the button-tufted redness on the inside. He always had a bourbonrocks in one hand whenever we rode around in that car. He went on to own each successive Mark coupe up to the MK VII LSC (that my cousin totaled!) and a '97 MK VIII LSC that he still occasionally drives.
Thanks for the trip back MM!
