@Nieros: It's along the same lines as feeling compelled to watch a train wreck. You know you shouldn't be so intent on it, but you can't manage to look away.....
That's kinda cute, haha. Wish I knew what a Lamborghini was that young... Instead, I told my Dad at the wise old age of eight that I was going to have a Viper. I'm still working on that. ;) #lamborghini
Well, thank you for once again reinforcing the belief that my chest will never be the right size. _ Even if I know more about cars than the majority of these girls, I'm sure. (I'm into cars, it's just their job to "look pretty.")
But, in reference to the thing on the left in #14, EWWWWWW. Omg. I know I look better than that. #boothbabes
@averyrm: Ugh, please. Like there aren't enough LS1 swaps done on EVERYTHING.
Rotaries are reliable. Notoriously reliable. When they're properly taken care of, that is. (Which didn't happen much in the US, so everyone thinks they aren't reliable.... When they are, up to a point. Just like *everything else*.)
Personally, I'm digging the body work... I'd do it to mine. After the turbo kit; she needs some power to back up looks like that. #miata
@SumTingWong Hates Prius Write-ups.: Indeed! Funny how American V8's do amazing things in the hands of everyone else, but still aren't so stunning under American development.
(And yeah, I like Corvettes, okay? Don't start on me. I think the 'Vette needs a redesign *bad.*) #ultimagtr
@RayonFog: Yeah, but *you* drive the M3.... She has the SUV. Why an SUV? Yes, BMW has great diesel technology, it isn't as bad as a Chevy/Ford/etc, yadda yadda yadda.... But *why* an SUV?
I don't care if people see them as necessary, I just don't understand WHY someone has to have a huge, horribly-handling SUV to tote around his or herself and the rare passenger(s). Many sedans have just as much space, but without the high center of gravity and height. Or the inflated price tag for a land yacht.
Believe me, I don't just pick on BMW SUV's. I hate all SUV's equally. I personally will never, ever own one. (I find it horrible that women feel they are necessary, even worse when they cite "safety" as a reason for it when they are NOT safer than most cars.) #bmwx5
Sheesh.... I didn't think Hallett was that bad, I was just out there in September. Trying to remember turn six, but then again, it depends on which way they were running the track that day. (Hallett goes both ways.)
If it was the way we went on our track day, and the way they have the map set up on their site, that doesn't look like turn six to me... That building is down by corner three. Either way, I hate #3... That's an ugly corner to do well and do well consistently.
@zeeboid: I'm seconding this suggestion.
If anyone ever wanted to know why I hate SUV's, this would be it. Especially BMW's SUVs. I'm shocked if I ever see one driving courteously, as I think that's a violation of some sort of agreement they get you to sign when you agree to be a moron and lease a car you can hardly afford.
Okay, maybe that was a bit much, but you get my point. (No, it doesn't apply to everyone, but no self-respecting car person would buy this sort of BMW anyhow. Not when there's the M3 & M5.) #bmwx5
