I smell a Mythbusters episode in the making.
@spuy767: Glad someone else got that too...
Just got back from two weeks in Hawaii on different islands and had two different cars - a Ford Edge and a Chevy Equinox.

The Edge really wasn't half bad - I actually didn't mind that car, and we pounded around on semi-paved roads and beaches and it was great.

The Equinox, on the other hand, is an abject study of GM's failures. It was such a P.O.S. I won't even give it any more description here. If I'd have taken it just one inch off the pavement, I'm positive it would have just collapsed in a heap of worthless parts. It also couldn't decide which gear it wanted to be in between 1500 and 1800 rpm, so just continually shifted.

I hate the Chevy Equinox.

Two words: Golf. Cart. I could put a wheelie bar on a golf cart and it would be way cooler than this P.O.S.
the orange one is brutally cool. rolled fenders on a land yacht FTW!
I saw the car in the pic, a '65 275GTS, in San Francisco on a flatbed heading towards the Bay Bridge on Friday evening. So that's strange timing.
If my eyes aren't deceiving me, there appears to be a Power Wheels parked in the opposite garage against the back wall. White with a Jeep-style roll bar. It's like the Hoon School Garage.
new Jalopnik t-shirt emblem!
Where is this street of broken dreams that you have happened upon? It looks like nearly all of these pictures were taken on the same stretch of road. Where is this 1970's/early 80's time capsule located - I'm wondering if I'll find our old Peugeot 505 there somewhere.
@ash78: BMW doesn't currently race in the DTM series...
