I happened to look over today during my morning commute and noticed yet another one of those cutesie SUV blobs towering over my humble Impreza, its blissfully unaware driver chatting animatedly into her cell phone as she careened mindlessly down the highway. Of course she cuts me off at the very next opportunity which was when I noticed that the big bastard she was lumbering around in had a Mini emblem on it...
I laughed out loud at the irony.
Ok, so they aren't that big... but size is relative and subjective people! I was in a lowered Impreza and that damn thing looked huge!! It was that moment I realized the size of the Mini Countryman in comparison to it's spiritual lineage. The interwebs helps with this comparison.

Mines a short-box, slab side, seasoned 350 sourced from a '69 Blazer with Edelbrock intake//Holley 650/Hooker headers/mild cam and a 3 speed automatic, been lowered a bit and has the "20 inchers that came on it when I bought it. Got 80 some thou on the odo but about 20 thou on the motor. These are just stickers, but they've been on awhile so paint color change is inevitable.

If your the GTi is an automatic we might be talking more... my sister, (co owner of the biz,) requests it be an auto since she'll have to drive half of the time on deliveries and she hates manual. #oppositelock
