Interesting. Apparently the posts above are too short so the photos won't display. Try these links:

Laser... oooh! From the "New" Chrysler Corporation.
Compare to the "domestic" professionals
Same thing circa 1985 in Chicago at old McCormick Place
Early photos of the Chicago Auto show. And by that I mean early 1985! [s47.photobucket.com] #tips
My photos of the Chicago Auto Show - in 1985. Complete with "booth professionals" of the era!

These are my shots of the 1985 Chicago Auto Show. The negatives are long gone so most images are scans of a contact sheet printed in 1985. The pictures are B&W because I was taking a photography class during my senior year of high school. And there ARE booth professionals!

Booth professionals, too! I was a 17-year old young man, after all...

Blown up scans of contact sheets from my shots taken at the 1985 Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place. I had to use B&W for a photography class that I was taking my senior year of
high school. The negatives are long gone, but the pictures live on.

This was the same day my '78 Regal was towed and taken to a lot at Halstead and Divistion (Phillips Towing) and I unwittingly wound up walking through Cabrini Green!

Perhaps a concept 2-door Blazer off the new small truck platform.
Plymouth again! Duster font also used in "Twister" package decals.
Plymouth - again. (As seen HUGELY on the rear quarter of a Superibird)

How about the guy at 00:18 who supplicates before his Cushman overlord?
Is this the dashcam from that Michigan woman's smelly Expedition?
About two weeks before the wrecking ball was about to completely demolish our old Hyundai Motor America headquarters building in Fountain Valley, California, we had a crazy thought: Wouldn't it be cool to do something outrageous inside the building before all the walls finally came down?

Actually, it was Dustin Loranger, one of our Service Technicians, who had the idea...and we loved it. Why not put Rhys Millen, his Genesis Coupe drift car, and our abandoned HQ together for a unique drift demonstration in a unique industrial setting? Rhys was up for the challenge, and remarkably, so were our lawyers, so we put this thing together, with tongue (and donut) firmly planted in cheek.

We think the video does a pretty good job showcasing Rhys' car control skills, the sweetness of the Genesis Coupe drift car, and the reason why Hollywood probably doesn't have to worry, just yet, about this cast and crew. ;)
