Looking at comments on torrent files is pretty much your best bet. Usually legitimate sites are set up so that it's easy for the community to find and mark bad torrents, and illegitimate ones are set up to provide as little information as possible.
"It didn't promote porn in any way. It didn't have any ads for porn. Its icon was plain. Its explanatory text was perfectly innocent."
and then this: [gizmodo.com]"Proving once again that Apple's iTunes approval process is absurd and futile, an app developer got his porn browser approved in under 12 hours, even with all the latest rules in place. The funny thing: Apple doesn't know about it."
It's referenced in the article, seriously?
How hard is it to figure out that the more they try to police everything the more people are gonna go "fuck this" and pirate things that already have DRM removed?
"turn the water off to all your toilet tanks and then flush to empty as much water as possible out of the system."
I could be misunderstanding this advice, but having a toilet hooked up to the sewer system and no water in the bowl is dangerous. The water prevents sewer gases from venting into the room. When the toilet bowl is full, the only water in the system (apart from the tank) is the water in the bowl and a small amount in a U shaped bend which is usually built into the ceramic.
I just really want to be thousands of years in the future so I can see how freaking amazing space is with my own eyes. And at the rate things are going (population growth, pollution, etc.) I think reliably getting to space is something we really need to work on.
Those seagate hard drives are a great deal. I bought two for $119 each during the summer, one died within a week and was replaced (and is fully functional) and the other is starting to report a lot of bad blocks. But that won't stop me from buying 2 more, especially at that price.
I can't wait to install this to my hard drive. The only thing I use my laptop for is ssh and chrome anyway and it would be sick to be able to boot into that in under 10 seconds. I'm relying on someone making a hard-drive version or I may just do it myself.
