The 24 hours of Nürburgring are over with the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR of Manthey Racing coming out victorious. Drivers Marc Lieb, Lucas Luhr, Timo Bernhard and Romain Dumas put on a dominant performance beating the second place BMW Motorsports BMW M3 GT by almost four and a half minutes. Jalopnik's favorite one off exotic car, the P 4/5 Competizione managed a very respectable 40th place finish overall. More »

Renault broke their own 'Ring record this past week when they recorded a very impressive 8:07.79 around the Nordschleife. The time was good enough to make Renault's new Megane RS Trophy the fastest production spec FWD car to ever lap the Nürburgring. While watching the record setting lap we had to keep reminding ourselves the car in question was only a 265 horsepower FWD Renault and not a vehicle significantly more powerful or significantly more RWD. Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy at the Nürburgring the previous Saturday. Among the many nattily attired ladies in attendance, one made the perfect call to sync her dress with the mesh covering on the P4/5’s rear using a pair of fishnet pantyhose.
