The folks over at Next Autos have some of the best spy shots yet of the 2010 BMW Z4. Wearing only very light psychedelic BMW camo, its cleaned up lines and retractable hardtop are clearly visible. Unclear is whether or not the controversial diagonal character line behind the front wheels will be eliminated. Thus continues the slow unveiling of the new Z4; we’ve already spied its interior and exterior many times, and we're expecting an official reveal at one of this winter’s car shows. More »

We've seen the 2010 BMW Z4 testing all over Germany, including the Nürburgring where we saw it ripping up the track. Or at least ripping up a track as much as a plastic camo-ed car can. But now the new Z4's traded in the racing cleats for some dainty little city shoes, at least according to these up-close shots of the Bavarian cream-roadster cruising the streets of Munich. More »

The 2010 BMW Z4 has shed the clunky body cladding and slipped into a skin-tight psychoactive anti-spy wrap that's making our eyes go all cross. Maybe it's because it wanted to look good for some track-time on the Nürburgring. The reason for the change is unknown, but let's ignore the swirls for a moment, because with all the bulky covering now out of the way we can get a better picture of how the shape of the car is being exaggerated even further into a long-nose short-decked sports car. Also clearly apparent in this latest round of spy photos is the final shape and break lines on this new hardtop convertible version of the upcoming model.
