Remember the <a href="http://jalopnik.com/5043198/2010-bmw-v5-spotted-during-hot+weather-testing">V5</a> that's no longer the V5? That's because it's now the <a href="http://jalopnik.com/341483/bmw-v5-progressive-activity-sedan-on-video">BMW Progressive Activity Sedan</a>, which is apparently German for "5-Series Fastback." The PAS appears to be on track to compete with the <a href="http://jalopnik.com/5065791/four+door-porsche-panamera-spotted-in-san-francisco">Porsche Panamera</a>, but the tent-like rear camo makes it tough to determine what the rear slope and proportions will end up looking like. We are totally digging the Buick ventiports on the front fender camo...or are those speed holes? [<a href="http://paultan.org/archives/2008/11/05/spyshot-bmw-progressive-activity-sedan/">Paul Tan</a>] <a href="http://jalopnik.com/5077043/bmw-progressive-activity-sedan-spotted-again-with-buick-ventiports" title="Click here to read more about BMW Progressive Activity Sedan Spotted Again With Buick Ventiports">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>

After our not-so-pleasant time with the outgoing <a href="http://jalopnik.com/5044395/2008-bmw-750li-part-one">2008 BMW 7-Series</a>, we were sure that the upcoming <a href="http://jalopnik.com/397816/2009-bmw-7+series-hits-web-a-wee-bit-early">2009 BMW 7-Series</a> couldn't possibly be any worse. After all, it doesn't look half bad in the official shots that have leaked out. But now we've got these shots of one <em>still</em> testing. This could mean one of two things: Either the Germans are just being themselves and demanding perfection, testing it up to the very last moment possible. Or they are desperately scrambling to get it right, making sure all the settings of the i-Crap on the car work as they should. Of course, maybe some engineer just took it out on his lunch break. <i>(Hat tip to Shmifty!)</i> <a href="http://jalopnik.com/5050036/2009-bmw-7+series-spotted-during-wet+weather-testing" title="Click here to read more about 2009 BMW 7-Series Spotted During Wet-Weather Testing">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>
