Motorola isn't one to shy away from shilling for Ferrari and this latest cellphone-sports car mash-up is further proof. Motorola has taken its previously boring RAZR 2 V9 cellphone and slapped Ferrari branding on it therefore increasing the sexiness level 10-fold. Normally in our Auto Branding Adventures, we're not one to easily give in to these types of products, but the Ferrari'd version of the V9 is mighty pretty. The checkered metallic patterns and red-everything is a tad drool-worthy for the gadget-fiends out there. More »

It's not often that I get this excited over a new cell phone release, but Motorola has done. it Motorola is bringing back the car phone with the Smart Rider Car Phone. The difference is that this isn't that big bulky briefcase-style phone of the 1990s, but rather a new, small, slim phone that can do a million times more than the car phones of yesteryear. It has a 2.8-inch color display and includes GPS navigation. More »

Ferrari, which some would describe as a "luxury manufacturer" is teaming up with Motorola, which others would describe as "cheap junk" — for a prancing-horse branded cellphone. The Motorola Z8 RIZR will be the sliding phone getting a little love from FRRI. I'll go easy on Motorola, the Z8 is a decent handset. More »

Just like here, we're told that everyone talks on their cell phones when they're driving in Russia. And just like here, it's usually a bad idea to be on your phone when you're driving. Because when you're yapping away on your new Motorola RAZR, it's so easy to miss the giant Motorola RAZR that's coming crashing down into the side of your car — even if it is just some marketing and PR stunt. More »

The latest rumor about the long bandied-about Apple/Motorola iPod phone is that they've been talking to automakers about incorporating it into cars. While neither confirmed nor denied by Apple, the phone/music player would somehow interface with the car's stereo, we're assuming via Bluetooth, but that's just pure conjecture on our part. More »
