John Pogson doesn't like traction control, fiddly electronics, or power steering. And that makes him the perfect vessel to keep the spirit of the Ferrari F40 alive.
Pogson, a mechanic-turned-racer, campaigned the F40 as a privateer in the 90s and keeps a fleet of Italian exotica running out of his shop, Italia Autosport, in the UK. He compares his Corvette Z06 to the liability-be-damned beast from Maranello, and when he took delivery of a 600 hp AC Cobra, he promptly ripped out the heater and power steering. We like this guy. You will too.
