Mazda has dropped a new version of its itty-bitty Kei car known as the AZ-Wagon for the Japanese domestic market. We're not sure when upright boxes became "lively and stylish," but that's how Mazda's copywriters describe the outside of the little people mover. Depending upon trim level, the interior looks to be either functional and spartan or loaded up with a leather-wrapped wheel and silver-trimmed IP. Buyers can also choose between a traditional four-speed autobox or a CVT said to offer better acceleration and fuel economy — and most likely the slipping-clutch sensation we attribute to most of the CVTs we've driven.
