Would you love to have a Noble but can't wait for the M600 and don't have the scratch to buy a new M400? It's your lucky day because there's a gently crash 2007 Noble M400 just waiting for you in Indiana. On top of being a sweet shade of p**sy magnet yellow and having only 8706 miles, it only needs a radiator, condenser, windshield and some super easy fiberglass work at the nose. At least, that's what the seller says. We suspect this one might have lived a very hard 8700 miles. But hey, only a $35,000 reserve! Act soon while supplies last. Oh Noes! Our dreams of owning a Moller M400 flying car may be in jeopardy. The company's deficit climbed to $40.6 million in the third quarter of 2007, with a quarterly loss of $81,071. Execs at the company say that a lot of capital is required of to continue the quest for the vehicle and that they have "substantial doubt" regarding the possibility of operations continuing. Shares of the company dropped to $0.81 with 1,700 shares being passed around. This is what happens when you fly to close to the sun... <a href="http://jalopnik.com/324520/moller-expresses-substantial-doubt-about-flying-car-future" title="Click here to read more about Moller Expresses "Substantial Doubt" About Flying Car Future">More »

It's not that we dislike the faux-spyshot device as a rule. Volkswagen did it to some effect with its new Tiguan SUV. But it's a little trite for our taste. Nonetheless, it's the latest attention-getting strategy of new carmaker Rossion. That is, the US-based sports car builder (and Noble distributor) that's licensed the UK-born Noble M12 to rebadge for the US specialty market. It's looking to drum up support for the new Q1, which when fitted with a recommended 450-horsepower twin-turbocharged Ford Duratec V6 (they sell it sans engine to get past certain regulations) promises to be a fast, lightweight runner that would make Lee Noble proud. So why is it in South Africa? It's to be produced at the same manufacturing facility as the Noble M12 and M400. Pretty sneaky. More »

If you'll remember, UK auto manufacturer Noble was totally on the ropes a few months back due to capital needs on development of the M15. And as UK automaking companies are want to do, they looked to sell the right to build their vehicles overseas. In Noble's case, they tossed overboard the rights to the M12 and M400. Here in the good ol' US of A the Noble distributor based out of Cincinnati snapped up the rights and here's the result — a Noble-like sports car called the Rossion Q1. It's got a 0-60 time of just 3.2 seconds, and sports 450 HP, a slight kick upwards from the Noble's 425. Full comments from Rossion Automotive Veep Dan Rosen after the jump. More »

Lee Noble and his UK masterminds behind Noble Automotive announced it's awarded the rights to manufacture its M12 and M400 track-day cars to its US distributor, 1g Racing. The deal means means a cash infusion to support Noble's efforts to build the upmarket M15 and a rumored new model that will reportedly put the company's brand in the big game. The new, 1g versions will be sold under a different name and badge, and Noble will keep the UK rights. 1g will be allowed to modify the cars to suit its customers, though no word on actual production plans have been revealed. – Mike Spinelli More »

With no plans to bring the UK's new Noble M14 to the states, the closest we'll get to the down-and-dirty charmer is an Edmunds Inside Line test drive of its predecessor, the M400. The company won't try to crack the US market because it doesn't want the new sporster to be mistaken for a kit car, considering we don't have the same kind of track-day culture as in the UK. Still, as twin-turbo V6-powered, 400hp/ton, stripped-down supercars go, we think the US-available M400 is none too shabby. More »
