Of course <em>you</em> know how to do a burnout. We all talk a big game when it comes to hoonage, but as we get ready for the Woodward Dream Cruise this weekend, we're sure there's got to be someone out there who might appreciate a simple instructional video. For this lesson, we'll be showing you how to do a burnout with a rear-wheel-drive, automatic transmission vehicle.<br /> <a href="http://jalopnik.com/400435/how-to-do-a-burnout-with-an-automatic-transmission-rear+wheel-drive-vehicle" title="Click here to read more about How To Do A Burnout With An Automatic Transmission, Rear-Wheel Drive Vehicle">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>

When the <a href="http://jalopnik.com/395588/bmw-gina-light-visionary-model-revealed-creepy">BMW GINA Light Concept</a> debuted, it stretched (literally) the definition of what a car is and can be. It also drew a bit of confusion on the name. What's a GINA? Even though some of our commenters had <a href="http://jalopnik.com/395588/bmw-gina-light-visionary-model-revealed-creepy#c6117042">similar ideas on the source</a>, the <em>NASIOC</em> Subaru forum members have gone and taken things to their inevitable conclusion. Since this is a family show, we'll refrain from going all the way, but let's say these forum cats and 14-year-old boys have a very similar mindset. (<em>We're a family show? Who knew? &mdash; Ed.</em>) [<a href="http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=8fb8b802ba778b436a049acc9439bcdb&t=1573751">NASIOC</a> via <a href="http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2008/08/mystery-solved-why-bmw-calls-it-gina.html">Carscoop</a>] <a href="http://jalopnik.com/400231/subaru-fan-forum-finally-gets-bmws-big-gina-joke" title="Click here to read more about Subaru Fan Forum Finally Gets BMW's Big GINA Joke">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>

We were confused and astounded at the claim of a soft top on the <a href="http://jalopnik.com/363188/webasto-light-concept-has-a-28+lb-soft-top">Webasto LigHT Concept</a> weighing in at a mere 28 lb., so we decided to go check it out for ourselves. Seems the innovators at Webasto made the simple into reality. They just took everything out of the top that wasn't needed. All the rollover protection is transferred to the integrated headrest roll hoops and the latches are mounted on either the windscreen or the trunk. The roof itself works sort of like one of those wood-cut snakes you played with as a kid. The ones that get rigid as it folds onto itself, and then when folded onto the trunk it lays down without argument. <a href="http://jalopnik.com/363978/webasto-light-concept-has-light-top-accurate-name" title="Click here to read more about Webasto LigHT Concept Has Light Top, Accurate Name">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>

This is highly a conceptual design, but Webasto is going balls-to-the-wall trying to develop an ultra-light roof. The soft-top on the LigHT concept weighs in at a very low 28 pounds. The designers, the Italian Istituto Europeo di Design, is calling this the "roof of the future," which may be a bit of an overstatement, but regardless having a 28 pound soft-top is pretty nice. <a href="http://jalopnik.com/363188/webasto-light-concept-has-a-28+lb-soft-top" title="Click here to read more about Webasto LigHT Concept Has A 28-lb.
