Remember the <a href="http://jalopnik.com/371691/hot-hatch-showdown">Renault Clio V6</a>? Well <a href="http://jalopnik.com/289814/lazareth-triazuma">Lazareth</a> has taken the basic concept of sticking a big engine in the back seats of a little car one step further with a tinier Twingo and a bigger, Range Rover-sourced V8. <a href="http://jalopnik.com/5390201/renault-twingo-v8-trophy-picks-up-where-clio-v6-left-off" title="Click here to read more about Renault Twingo V8 Trophy Picks Up Where Clio V6 Left Off">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>

And you thought the <a href="http://jalopnik.com/cars/custom-cars%252fhot-rods/subaru-stipowered-atv-120920.php">STI-ATV </a>was crazy. Cramming a BMW V12 and a turbocharger into a quad bike wasn't enough for French bike builder <a href="http://jalopnik.com/tag/ludovic-lazareth/">Ludovic Lazareth</a>, he needed more power, so he added ethanol. <a href="http://jalopnik.com/5333987/283000-quad-bike-powered-by-500-hp-turbocharged-bmw-v12/gallery/" title="Click here to read more about $283,000 Quad Bike Powered By 500 HP Turbocharged BMW V12">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>

Much more hard-edged than the Can-Am Spyder, the Lazareth Triazuma combines the performance of a superbike with the instability of a trike. Choosing to embrace the inherent flaws of a three-wheeled platform, the Triazuma should be as exciting to ride as it is frightening. The 180 bhp four-cylinder engine is borrowed from a 2006 Yamaha R1 while the styling combines that bike's seat with a CBR 954RR headlight, the rest comes from the company's own Quadrazuma 4-wheeler. Unlike the Spyder, the Triazuma doesn't feature any sort of traction control or antilock brakes, so get ready for tail slides. <a href="http://www.lazareth.fr">Lazareth</a> <a href="http://jalopnik.com/289814/lazareth-triazuma" title="Click here to read more about Lazareth Triazuma">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>
