Notable is that they've spent that money less on big celebrities and more on the placements themselves. This year might have been a big money year buy using a Bruno Mars song in the 2015 Genesis spot and Johnny Galecki in the Elantra ad, but they're hardly spectacles by Super Bowl standards.
