What if there was a way to add about, oh, I don't know, a bunch of horsepower and torque to a car that didn't have it all to begin with. You wouldn't have to turn a single wrench — or even know what a "wrench" was — and the only mechanical knowledge you'd need is knowing what an OBD port was and where to find it.
Yes, of course you already know about such things. You have for about two decades. And yet, it's kind of funny to see it acted out using two similar cars from the same maker that are thousands of dollars apart in price — one with a supercharged three-liter V6 with stock horsepower in the 300s; the other with a 4.2-liter V8 with stock horsepower in the 400s.
Chris Harris did just that, comparing an (albeit ill-maintained and smelly) B8 Audi S4 Avant with a new Audi RS4 Avant.
First he drag raced them as is. Then he had a guy from Revo perform a very quick performance ECU flash on the S4. You can imagine what happened next, or just watch. The results speak for themselves.
